Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Great video- wonder if it is available in real time for this rail buff? Britain still matters very much to America, it's just that the oh-so-well-educated, oh-so-smart, Obamas haven't a clue and/or could care less about this country's history and cultural ties. And the supreme irony is that the one man who has been pitching The O's spendthrift ways abroad, after being brushed off in Washington, receives a package of 25 crappy Hollywood dvd's for his trouble.

Great stuff. Love those interlocking towers. I think the line between London and Brighton was begun pretty early, in the late 1830s or so.
