Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I saw Jesse Lee Peterson on Fox & Friends the other day. A good man. They had him in the Pundit Pit with three other rather effete pundits, and it made Jesse Lee stand out for his somewhat ebonic speaking. But damned if he didn't knock them all out of the ballpark. Very humble guy with a grasp of right/wrong without the blather of BS or the need to preen and prink.

yep --he consistently --the four or five times i've seen him --blows 'em outta the ballpark.

something about his directness and clear, clear sincerity.

not to mention being on the honorable and decent side of the issues.
