Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Odalisque

An odalisque is a Moslem's slave concubine, but all guys could use a bunch of them around the place, as long as they have sweet and agreeable temperaments and are willing to give the wife a hand with the chores. Plus no burkhas required when they are lounging around ye olde wood-stove-heated New England harem.

I enjoy Maggie's Farm, but I get tired of the "soft-porn" pics that come up in my opinion--way too frequently. There is enough porn on the internet, why do you put it on your site?

Now Meta, let's let the guys have their fun. I just wish they'd publish an occasional picture of a dishy guy or guys to, you know, kinda balance things out. Like a picture I saw on Lex's site last year of a bunch of handsome SEALs running on the beach. That really got my blood pressure humming.

And besides, it was patriotic. A slam dunk, don't you think?

I don't mind the babes a bit. I like seeing the guys' inner-bonobos come out in the comments. I am with you that BD could at least put up a nice dude or two. But not unless their buns are showing.

Oh, different G_d. I must be thinking of the one that puts chicks in black sacks with little slots to look out of.

We really shouldn't blame women for being so beautiful, shaming them to lives of obscurity, so that we can wag our fingers at debased disgusting whores like Katie Curic saying: "we're more moral than you". Should we?

I wouldn't want to have a few of them lounging around the house - not unless I could live somewhere else and visit only when I wanted. That might work out.

That's my problem. I let reality invade my fantasies too much.
