Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

East and West

For gosh sakes, folks. Carbon dioxide isn't a pollutant. It's a gas, a gas like oxygen and is absolutely necessary for green plants to survive and grow. It's a fertilizer, not a poison. You want to live in a sand-box, eliminate carbon dioxide.

Didn't any of those silly environmentalists ever take a science course? Or grow a plant? Sheesh! Quit wasting vauable time and vast amounts of money on eliminating something that's a natural part of the earth's eco-system. If you want to join a cult, find a nice, beneficent one that won't beggar our economy and starve half the planet.

And somebody please shut Nancy Pelosi up. She's a serious embarrassment to herself and Congress. Pat Moynihan must be whirling in his grave with embarrassment.

But that's just their objective to beggar our economy and starve half the planet. Humans bad, they and their Holy Mother Earth good. They look for any cult/pseudo religion that will do the trick and this 'green' one seems to be doing the job so far.
