Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Love it! Nothing as romantic as dancing with the right person... I tell my daughters, don't bother with a man who can't dance...

You are absolutely right on that Retriever!!! I got lucky and he does not look as if he went to dancing school--just allowed him to feel good about it--nothing to it!!:-) Plus he is light on his feet naturally! We are at an age now where we are not only the same height ( a little on the shorter side), but we are also shaped the same now. It is really fun to go dancing and have the kids come up to us and say wow! You guys got it! However, now comes the subject of the gal in this You Tube presentation: am I correct? Is she just a little smoother? (Even though she is probably wearing an 1.5 inch high heel (or higher). Oh well, I still prefer the GREAT Gene Kelly over the others! He could also waltz very nicely, but they did not show him doing that type of dancing because most of the gals were taller than him!
