Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

What a jerk

You've read this already, but since we did link the original Princeton story (with a hoax warning), this is for the record. What a jerk. The guy is as bad as the AP or the NYT.

I don't like to treat everyone as a suspect, but high-profile "hate crime" accusations seem to go this way too often. I had my doubts about another case in NY a couple of months back. While I don't recall reading about any publicly-voiced skepticism in that case, the enthusiasm of the victim aroused my suspicion.

Why embark on his activist mission yet walk alone with knowledge he is target.

I wouldn't but ya'ta'eeh, over edicated waifes can't be expected to use some discresion. (spell check buddy)
