Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

John Bolton visits the Upper West Side

A book signing, and plenty of good Q&A. Am. Thinker. I do not understand why the Dems wanted him out.

Why did he have to go?

He was competent, pro-American and he wasn't there to 'feather his own nest'. Can't have that in the UN!

The same people who demonize an American hero. A man doing god's work to protect America and destroy the homicidal maniacs who call themselves al Qaeda. The man's name is GW Bush. Bolton worked for GW...Next question.

UN is to the Democratic party as Las Vegas is to the mob. Neither organization can tolerate a reformer, or truth-teller, or honest representative of the higher ideals of the nation.

Just read Clarence Thomas's book and it's a real good read. There's a story about how he met John Bolton while a student at Yale. Thomas lost his wallet and Bolton found it. At the time Thomas was a lib and Bolton was what he is now- a conservative. He said that Boltons one of the few who treated him as a person, not a black man. It appears that Bolton has always been a man of great integrity. Thomas and Bolton have remained friends ever since their first meeting.
