Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Campaign $

I tend to agree with Jay at Wizbang. No rules, and all transparent. Meanwhile the Hsu story gets worse. Major story there, but don't expect the NYT to highlight it. Somebody with free time needs to find out where all of that money has been coming from. The MSM cannot squelch a story these days, and the dumb Larry Craig story will pass quickly.

We know Bill C. sold the Chinese top secret military information in return for campaign contributions.

The Clintons have had years now to devlop cut outs, false corporations and all the other manner of tradecraft knowledge they could buy from current and former CIA/FBI people.

They called him "Slick Willie" starting in Arkansas 40 years ago and not without reason.

The Clintons are dangerous people ..just follow the trail of dead bodies they've left in their wake.

I mean do either one of them do anything honest? A reasonable person would say no...but that's where the tradecraft and plusiable deniability come into play. Everything they do is cover by plausible deniability.

They are scum. They work to subvert not to ennoble. Hillary's idol Saul Alinsky in his book "Rules for Radicals" clearly states that there are two initial ways to go about change 1. work within the system 2. subvert the system..

But his mantra in the end comes down to "by any means necessary" and he is referring to acquiring POWER...this is what Hillary guided Bill with and what she is now following. I do not believe there is anything she would not do, anything, to become President...

It's shaping up to be a nation governed by the Democrats after the '08 election.

Republicans, both middle of the road and conservative need to consider a way back to power. The answer is as clear as what many many Democrats did when the Reagan Revolution occurred. Switch parites.

If we can get the RNC to use their computers to pin point which counties are "swing" counties, close in elections, we can have a significant number of Republicans switch to the Democratic Party, control the county,and consequently the state.

Why do you think the Republican Party got so f'd up...all those "professional" politicians that saw the parade forming and quickly ran to the front of it as newly minted converts to the truth...hell they just wanted to keep THE POWER..it is always about POWER in politics, just as it's always about MONEY on Wall Street.

So give it some thought..let's all become Democrats and subvert that party from within, or at minimum dilute it's effects. Forget all this jazz about "standing for principles" that will prevent you from doing it. You can keep those principles. Just play for the other team and keep dumping sand dumping in the gears of their machine until it stops.

The same thought has occurred to me--switch parties, and work on the Dems from the inside.
