before i even scrolled down re; Macon mayor my inner voice said ..this guys gotta be a nigger ... now nigger is a prejorative but in the case of this mayor being African American who is supporting a dictator who is courting ever enemy of the United States..it's a perfect fit.

You folks are way too PC. If you realized that one of the main planners of the Civil Rights movement, one who was beside M.L.King when he gave his "I have a Dream Speech", Bayard Rustin wrote an entire essay on why the use of nigger wasn't bad.
Rap lyrics are full of the word, blacks call each other nigger all the time.
This self imposed restriction that a cracker can't call a mayor who courts this countires worst enemies a nigger is your hang up not mine or the rappers or the civil rights leaders, or any number of contempoearary black scholars who see the hypocracy of not using the word when it is properly applied. It was properly applied and I make no apology for it.
The WASP culture in this country has bent to every imaginable cultural dictate that the Black African American community has demanded over the last 50 years.

Educationally we have race normed tests, dumbed down curriculums, and generally watched as the Black culture contributed little to the broad sunlit upland field of this nation ..
I don't use the word lightly and I never speak it in public but one thing the crackers have to know is that just as the Islams see weakness in our tolerance so do other cultures, and they always take advantage of it. "White Men Can't Jump" ... tell me about that ..what if it had been a movie that said "Black men can't do math" think Jesse would have said something..hell yes....but nobody I know in the white community in a position to say anything said a word about that movie title.

I qualified my original usage as to why I felt it was warranted and I still think it's been applied correctly...would I yell it at him in the Macon City Hall...no...would I want to..yes
I've always been a firm believer in the fact that a person gets the type of treatment they deserve and by the same token allow to be tossed their way.
I'll pay the freight .... been called a honkey,craker etc for no other reason than my skin tone but I usually just let it go...still do 99% of the time, but sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade and not try to shovel shit across the barnyard.

BTW..do you use the word queer in any context anymore? Even as in odd..probably not for fear of misinterpretation. Fag offlimits? Self imposed due to the "Gay lobby" creating the "Gay is just who we are we can't help it" atmosphere?

Anyway I recall on this very site the N-word being used within the past two months by the owners of this site...that would be interesting for them to locate and justify.

I would contend that the wrong philosophies have defined the PC world precisely because the corporations and businesses were forced to enforce PC ... the worker bees just had no choice ..just like it always happens.

It is not a word I write or incorporate in my daily speech..I recognise it's sensitvity in our culture, HOWEVER, if I deem it apropos, then so be it, it is my call.

Actually I still think you can use the word if you so choose. It has not been outlawed yet. Were it to be I would be delighted for the Rap industry would fold up tomorrow.

Should white people be able to use the N word? Should black people use the N word? And if black people use the word in the presence of white people, does that give white people permission to use it? A white English teacher in Louisville, Kentucky seems to think it does. At least that's what he said at first. Now he claims that he called one of his black students a "nigger" to teach him a lesson about not using the N word.

Read the comments too. I will locate what bayard Ruskin had to say about it and maybe thrown in some thoughts by the group NWA or Niggers With Attitudes which is what is stands for...of course you might be exposed to the word 'ho and a whole bunch of trash treatment of women but that's OK , right?
