We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
It's not a Hinckley, but the Fortier 26 seems like a fine boat, for less than half the price of the Hinckley Picnic Boat. You can find one used between $60-90,000. Certainly enough boat to handle the blue water off Block and the Islands, or Maine.
Father's Day
As narrow-minded, knuckle-dragging traditionalists, we Maggie's Farmers honor fathers: fathers that stick around and do their best to do what grown men need to do for their families and for their communities. Few of us can reach the Atticus Finch idea

I also want a Pilatus PC-6 "Porter" or a SuperCub, and I want a crossbow, and I want a Ferrari , and I want 30 years taken off my timeline, and I want a week in Acapulco with Victoria Silvstedt, and if I survive that then I want a month with her on Maui. Surviving that I want a six month extention with her at various other venues.
The I'll be ready to go snuff out some Islams.
