We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Oh, hell no. Too busy to shop? This sounds like the lower middle class people I know who always eat fast food or highly processed packaged food junk because they are "too busy" to select and prepare real food that isn't trying to kill them. Then I see what sloppy chaos in their lives that constitutes being "too busy", mostly waste of time.
Nope, I will only trust myself to select and handle what I am going to be eating. That small investment in time pays huge dividends in our family's health and well being. What else in our lives should take higher priority?
They don't charge too much more than the store. Worth it for the convenience but usually one item was forgotten or wrong and had to go back the next day to get it. Buying produce was very hit or miss. It was worth it to work one more hour that paid for the convenience without the hassle of driving and shopping.
Couldn't figure out how much it costs. So if you ordered $35 worth of food does it cost $35 to deliver it to your home? $10? 10% ? flat rate? Tip expected? The site isn't transparent on these questions.
