It seems to me that Dear old Robert rants on about a number of things. He's big on decrying the rich but strangely, never seems to call out, say, the Obamas (net worth USD 70 million) or Oprah Winfrey (net worth USD three billion).

I will guarantee you that today and every day (sorry that sounds like something Kamala would say) you can drive through Aurora break the traffic laws and get stopped by a cop and ticketed. Now, I'm serious, does this sound like the Aurora police are taking the Venezuela gangs serious? I guarantee you that any weekend evening in Chicago you can get stopped by police for traffic infractions and ticketed at the exact same time someone is getting shot. Do you know why? Because cities and police prioritize traffic tickets/fines because of the money. AND it is so much safer than going after criminals and shooters. Your cops are trained and utilized to extort money from the law abiding working class and NOT to stop violent crime. It could be the frigging end of the world and as you flee Armageddon a cop will pull you over for speeding and then ask questions fishing to find more infractions to fine you for. THAT is what the police are created to do.

Abolish grades? Wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to eliminate public schools? It's likely our children will get better (and useful) educations rather than the drew being pushed as 'education' these days.

Why not deprecate the whole idea of grade-segregated, lockstep schools? Once a child is homeschooled to basic literacy (hello, Finland!), put them in one or more apprenticeships so they learn something useful. Save schools for the scholarly.

History may not repeat itself but it rhymes. Right now England's politics is rhyming with Germany's politics of the 1930's. Look at the picture of the police chief of London and read what he has said and tell me you don't see Eichmann in your mind's eye in full Nazi uniform arm extended shouting sieg heil.

Nope. As one who has lived in the UK and Europe, continental European bureaucracy is in a class of its own.
