The left, the communists, but I digress, always accuse the opposition of doing exactly what they themselves are doing. They always describe themselves in nice sounding descriptions and save the Hitler/NAZI expletives for their opponents. Their modus operandi is always to lie, deceive and blame. It works. Most people aren't deep thinkers and don't look any deeper than the surface of political issues.

You need remedial work on your left-right/authoritarian screed. Abandon the European model... it doesn't exist in America except by academics that love to confuse it with the European application in which the Euro parties are all primarily socialist in nature.

I removed that word from my vocabulary quite some time ago.

Populism as a category has always had fuzzy edges, but the concept of the common "folk" against the elites still has currency (even if many populist movements have been co-opted by the very elites the common people are rebelling against). What else would you call it?

Nor is populism necessarily pejorative. There's always a natural tension between elites, whether monied or intellectual or mandarin, and the common people.

The government and media will now have to thread that needle between the Secret Service being incredibly incompetent AND the Sniper acting alone. It was literally impossible for the sniper to get to where he was without help and even perhaps some cooperation from Secret Service and Law enforcement. So which was it? Incompetence or conspiracy?

Think back to the OK City bombing. The "bomb(s)" did too much damage for an ANFO type bomb especially being so far from the exterior of the building. So the "quick fix" to that problem was the FBI declared it to be a massive 15 ton ANFO bomb. but... but then it had to be that lil Tim acted alone and building a huge bomb was physically impossible for one man so the bomb was downgraded eventually to 2000 lbs and even then to build it would be like mixing and moving 2000 lbs of concrete by yourself, just not possible for one man. But they began arresting bomb experts who pointed out these discrepancies to quiet the disagreement with the official story. So you won't hear that inconvenient problem anymore.

So pay attention to how all the "problems" with the official story are painted over with propaganda.

Sloped roof... Nearly all metal framed steel buildings are a 1/12 pitch roof. You can run on them, just stay off the ribs.
Nearly all wood framed steel buildings are 5/12 pitch roof. You can quite easily walk on them.
I learned this from my first career of nearly 20 years. If Secret Service personnel did not know this it is evident they never spend any time in the field and should not be in a leadership position.

There is an interesting video out there. It shows a woman in dark glasses directly behind Trump who seems to raise her sign as a signal as she stares in the direction of the shooter. seconds later the shots are fired and while all around her duck and scream she continues to stare and when the Secret Service finally takes out the shooter she calmly pulls out her phone and begins filming. Almost as though she knew. The coincidences get stranger and stranger.

Biden’s Team Crippled Trump’s Security To Allow Murder Attempt
