We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Hitting on guys? Seriously, nobody cares as long as it's between consenting adults.
People do care if it's not consensual, and will rightly despise you if you act as though your fame makes consent unnecessary. The law might also (again , rightly) want a word with you.
Gay or straight, the rules are the same. Obviously.
He's gay but socially awkward in his pickup attempts, and has no gaydar, trying to pick up the wrong guys in the wrong way. Nobody, at least in the documentary, got hurt. I got hit on a bunch of times when I was younger but I wouldn't go on TV and whine about it, and I certainly would not try to ruin anyone's career.
I don't know all the facts. But I do know that if you are rich and famous people come after you. You can be totally innocent and get in trouble and even go to jail because someone wants money.
Secondly the difference between sexual harassment and dating is simply how attractive the person is asking for a date/sex. There is literally no person on earth who when the love of their life comes up to them and asks them out will immediately think I should charge this guy with sexual harassment. It is only when joe nobody asks you out that you get offended.
