I love Scott Adams I have most of his books and I listen to him frequently unfortunately he has an extreme blind spot on immigration. Scott still believes immigration is a huge economic benefit to our country. He says he doesn't want to listen to anyone who has a different opinion on immigration unless they are an expert. There is a tenured economics professor at Harvard named George Borjas who has made his life work the study of immigration and labor and published his reports and findings in peer review journals. Professor Borjass has discovered there is very little if any economic benefit from our current immigration and what benefit there is has been captured by those who hire immigrants and the immigrants themselves leaving our poor communities to bear the economic social environmental burden of mass immigration for decades which is a fact always left out of immigration arguments. There's only one professor with similar expertise of professor borjas who published report refuting his findings and he used Miami during the 1980s as his rebuttal to professor borjas because he believes there was a lot of economic benefit in Miami after the mariel boatlift. However that professor left out the fact that during the 1980s there was a tidal wave of cocaine flying into Miami that was unlike anything before us since I know I was there. It added billions to the Miami economy which makes this study look silly also if you look at the income disparity in Miami now between the top and low levels of citizens it's one of the highest in the country. I almost think Scott doesn't want to accept the fact that we need an immigration moratorium because that might get him cancelled because let's face it what made the last great immigration wave a success was that the immigrants stopped coming. Also the damage from immigration is permanent at a demographic level that cannot be fixed unlike almost every other problem
