Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Does anyone seriously think we will ever know who killed JFK?
Does anyone actually believe any statement issued by any government? The JFK assassination article was useless. Basically he simply declared that Oswald was crazy enough and smart enough to have done it. What is unsaid is that the FBI tried to duplicate the shot with expert marksmen and failed, it is a lot tougher shot than it looks. The audio places two shots so close together that no one could operate the bolt action rifle and reacquire the moving target and shoot that quickly. The fact that 4-6 different shots can be identified in the JFK shooting blows the 6th floor theory out the 6th floor window. Someone did in fact shoot from a high position behind the motorcade and the bullet(s) hit the street. Someone did fire from in front of the motorcade and hit JFK in the head. The head doctor who examined JFK's injuries declared that he was shot from the front and the government had to threaten him to get him to change his report. A reliable witness puts Oswald in the downstairs breakroom within second of the shooting, not on the 5th floor. The list of serious discrepancies is huge. Numerous eye witnesses saw and heard the shooter and shot from the grassy knoll and the commission spent most of their time trying to discredit this fact. Even a policeman heard those shots.
As for Oswald, it is a 99.99% chance that he was a CIA asset. Maybe not the smartest person, maybe not a good person but most certainly connected to the CIA. He became a convenient unwilling dupe for the assassination. BUT, he had to be killed because of his CIA connections and things he knew. Conveniently he was. Since the media and Government have burned their credibility, we are left to piece the puzzle together as best we can.
You nailed it!
Meanwhile, Gregory's article was a POS! It explained nothing and offered nothing of note other than a YUUGE "LOOK AT ME!" The most telling arguments in Oswald's favor are from witnesses who observed him eathing lunch during the assassination and the LEO who confronted him in the lunchroom of the TBD, a minute or so after the assassination, stnding calmly there. We know who sho JFK in the "abstract"; the specific team members who particiopated in the ambush have been identified in different publications, but nobody wants to acknowledge them, either because they are already dead or they or their family will be killed. As the meme goes, you don't have to sell me Joe, I'm already voting for him. "Honor Turkeys by not eating them"
When it's the sole reason they were raised to begin with. I can also honor the LATimes by not reading it. See, that was easy. I can also honor the LATimes by not reading it.
ROFL That was brilliant Ed. I wish I had thought of it. Honor the turkey farmer, and all those that labored to bring the turkey to market, by eating the turkey.
'Scarborough: If Elected, Trump Will 'Execute' As Many People As He Can Get Away With!'
Can I help him? Every day that passes increasingly exposes how the people who have been screaming that Trump and “the far right” are Nazis, are actually the real Nazis. Even down to their antisemitism.
In reply to someone who wants to help Trump execute his enemies:
mudbug: Every day that passes increasingly exposes how the people who have been screaming that Trump and “the far right” are Nazis, are actually the real Nazis. Trump's eliminationist rhetoric is part of the public record, including calling his political adversaries "vermin" and the media "enemies of the people". So the media are... our friends?
Trustworthy? Honest to a fault? People who would never lie to push any hidden (or not so hidden) agendas? Umm. Yeah. JLawson: So the media are... our friends?
Being friends is not the opposite of "enemies of the people," which is a phrase used by authoritarians to justify restrictions on individual and press freedoms. The traditional view of the press is as a bunch of meddlesome busybodies. So? JLawson: Trustworthy? Honest to a fault? People who would never lie to push any hidden (or not so hidden) agendas? Media has the right to set an agenda. Your evaluation of their honesty doesn't matter (with some due process limitations, such as liable). How did you think freedom of the press worked? For clarity:
Z: Being friends is not the opposite of dichotomous with "enemies of the people," So they won't lie.
They just 'promote an agenda'. "The economy's just fine and getting better by the day!" https://notthebee.com/article/breaking-bridge-connecting-us-and-canada-closed-after-explosion If someone were an enemy, what would they do? Lie? Prevaricate? 'Promote an agenda'? If you're worse off, but someone's telling you that you're doing better than ever - what's the reality? Erasmus: So they won't lie.
Didn't say that. Your evaluation of their honesty doesn't matter (with some due process limitations, such as liable). How did you think freedom of the press worked? Sorry. The attribution should be to JLawson.

Daniel Goldman:
Trump must be eliminated. Joe Scarborough: Trump is going to execute people. Claire McCaskill: Trump is worse than Hitler. The memo's gone out. All this week they've been trying to get one of their unhinged viewers to act. Erasmus: Daniel Goldman: Trump must be eliminated.
Goldman apologized. Erasmus: Joe Scarborough: Trump is going to execute people. Trump's eliminationist rhetoric is part of the public record, including calling his political adversaries "vermin" and the media "enemies of the people". Trump has not apologized. Erasmus: Claire McCaskill: Trump is worse than Hitler. What she said was "The difference, though, I think makes Donald Trump even more dangerous, and that is he has no philosophy he believes in." She is wrong on that. Hitler's ideological coherence made him generally more dangerous, not less. It's important to note how Trump's eliminationist rhetoric gets amplified, such as in Maniac's comment above. re Cry no more for Argentina — it’s about to be a new model for economic reform
Perhaps. If the opposition allows him to implement his reforms. If the losers in the economic reform don't don't call for another Peron. If the US Dollar doesn't go down the toilet. We'll see. I sincerely hope he succeeds. The same evil doers that came after Trump (WEF, CIA, FBI, Soros, The Republican Party, The Democrats, you know, the Marxist communist cabal, the One World Government types) will be after him. I wish him God speed. May the Argentinian population that elected him, stand firm against the forces arrayed against them.
feeblemind: Cry no more for Argentina — it’s about to be a new model for economic reform
Milei is a self-described anarchist, a right-wing form of anarchism that advocates a stateless society called anarcho-capitalism. An anarchist is on the opposite end of the political spectrum as the authoritarian. Anarchists want little to no government which seems to fit his 'libertarian' media creed.
Left/right is a non-functional French political model that seated communists on the left and the fascists on the right side of the French parliament. It is a useful tool for American progressives who wish to deny an association with their socialist blood brothers on the authoritarian end of the political spectrum. We may be in one of the scariest times in history. Yes, because of the multiple threats of war and hot spots in the world. Yes because of some very real nuclear "saber rattling" by multiple countries. But even more so because of the very real threat to Democrats that they may lose power in the 2024 election. Sure they will cheat in the election and retain a few seats in congress that they might have lost. They will certainly try to steal the presidential election and may in fact succeed but even that is a threat to peace now that everyone will be watching for that. The bottom line is the left/Democrats need a crisis, a disaster, a false flag attack, something, anything to dramatically change the political landscape. What will they do? What are they capable of doing? How will it affect you and your family?
The Mayo Clinic has become just another converged institution that totes the politically correct administrative state rhetoric. They even denied Ivermectin, then approved Ivermectin, and then, likely getting a verbal lashing, denied the usefulness of Ivermectin again. All that government provided cash for medical 'treatment' definitely came with a gag to prevent 'inadvertent' dialog that didn't back the governments stance.
What happened at the Mayo clinic is easy to understand. It was a decision by a woman who works in HR. I don't know that, but I would bet on that. Two problems: Women who seek positions like this are more likely to misuse their power. HR makes political decisions and not business or economic decisions.
It would be wise for any company or corporation to require HR to get approval from the CEO or board before they make these kinds of decisions. It would also be wise for the CEO and the board to recognize that when an HR person actually wants to do something like this that they are a danger to your company. The Mayo clinic will settle this. Perhaps a few million to the doctor and close to a million to the lawyers. But will they learn from it. This could have been avoided by telling the Karen to mind her own business or turn in her resignation. Thinking about the Beatles' "new song" made from a "previously unusable recording" ... I find, as a hack musician with a day job that I am not likely to quit anytime soon, I have a very low threshold for deeming something "unusable" (perhaps this is one reason I am unlikely to be ambushed by commercial success in the near future, if ever). Example: Everyone I know who knows Rich Mullins' double CD, The Jesus Record, hardly bothers with the second CD, the one with all the polished versions (performed by studio musicians) of the same tracks that appeared on Disc One. That disc was Mullins alone (with a couple of friends listening and clapping) in an empty church, belting out and banging away his demos on guitar and piano, all captured on nothing more than a lousy cassette recorder. Mullins died soon thereafter in a motorcycle accident and so never had a hand in the polished product. But that last statement, not just because it was his swan song (though that has much to do with it), is indescribably powerful, poignant, and moving. Good thing some extremely (!) rare record company exec had the good sense to include that demo CD in the final product and even insisted that it appear as Disc One ("the" Jesus Record), not as Disc Two (an afterthought). In short, if the material is good, it's worth listening to, almost regardless of the production quality. [I wish Rick Beato would do a piece on what makes that record (the whole demo CD) great.]
The only nonstandard JFK assassination story that has held up is that the second bullet came accidentally from a Secret Service guard protecting him, which was covered up.
There was nothing impossible or even unlikely about the shot Oswald fired. For that ass clown comment, I hereby commission you to FULL village idiot!
Not a shred of evidence even connects Oswald with firing ONE shot. LBJ killed JFK.
