We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Besides the NATO Europastan rump vassals we have the Magic Soil and the indispensable apparatchik mandarins and the faculty lounge HR department to deliver 1000 years of glorious victories.
The replacements are lined up around the corner at the recruiting office because we have always been at war with Eurasia. (s/)
The Wunderwaffen win it every time, just ask the Germans.
Fun Trivia-The BRICS+ is almost half the purchasing power for the world, and in control of a massive amount of energy with LNG and petroleum.
The implicit point of your rhetorical questions rests upo a false premise. Taiwan and Ukraine need not be US allies to partake of the instrumental virtue of resisting threats from authoritarian regimes that are in fact threats to the US. It is extraordinary and alarming how many people are keen to suck up to Moscow and Beijing these days.
If Zelensky and the Ukraine followed through on their 'peace' overtures as promised rather than kowtowing to the Nuland "fuck the EU" threats to end negotiations along with the UK meddling in the peace process, the Ukraine wouldn't be in the predicament it is in now. NATO has been in a multidecade offense against Russia by its continual expansion to Ukraine borders which went against administration promises made when the Soviets allowed East Germany to rejoin West Germany. The US CIA, State Dept, Nuland and the UK FAFO.
Agreed. But then again this is the same guy who thinks that China is not an enemy. What he fails to appreciate, I think, is that what makes another nation an enemy is not your opinion or intentions towards it, but their behavior and intentions towards you.
The US is an aggressive, expansionist, imperial state. It has started at least 80% of all the wars and military interventions since 1945, and almost always against states that were at peace with the US and its allies. Its most recent wanton aggressions, even bombing German infrastructure, have forged not only the Russo-China alliance, but have driven the Global South into the arms of BRICS 11, which is becoming an anti-American alliance.
Our vile Deep State is headed into a nuclear war, which will kill us and our families.
The U.S. isn't aggressive, expansionist, nor an imperial state. That's total poopoo. Stupid sometimes but not even close to being as bad as you seem to think. Are you just a propagandist?
