Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Interesting

Tucker interviews RFK Jr.  I tried to embed it, but can't.


Not supporting the guy, but he is smart and thoughtful. Doubt he is paranoid. He's right - Russia will not tolerate NATO on its borders. Why would they? NATO is obsolete anyway, in my view.


I wish he would quit with the constant "my father" and "my uncle." It's too much.

I agree that for someone who says he advocates for the disadvantaged, he sure seems to rely on the family name to establish himself as a champion. I'm not sure I'd be bringing it up so frequently, because there are too many people that know better - especially when it comes to Uncle Teddy.

No SS protection for RFK II I mean WTF?
How petty and venal is the CPUSA (D) and how clueless as they give the Ron Paul/Bernie/Tulsi treatment to a Kennedy.
RFK II gets stuff out there in the mainstream for discussion that I thought would take decades, tip of the hat just for that.
War hero JFK was the last truly great president and just think what would happen during a Cuban missile crisis with Brandon.
BTW-Cuba is open to RF ships and missiles being stationed there.

As I remember Mr Kennedy, he was wont to swan in to some exclusive due at Lake Louise, Alberta, from which exclusive resort he would lecture us peons on the need to be more frugal and lower our carbon imprint. So I take his newfound musings with several bushels of salt.

Yeah sorry, he's a freaking Kennedy and you'd be hard pressed to find one that wasn't liar, thief, addict, pervert, or all of the above. He uses "my uncle" and "my father" for the simple reason that millions of Americans still worship at the feet of those skeevy scumbags. Camelot by birthright and association, all funded by the Kennedy Trust established by Joe to keep the rum money in the family and dodge the taxes they insist you pay.

If you think it legitimate for Russia not to tolerate NATO on its borders, then presumably you would think it legitimate for the USA not to tolerate Russia on its borders (Alaska).
