We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
This is how I lived my life from about age 12 until about age 63. Always looking for another physical challenge worked out and ran 6-7 days a week. It's fun and fulfilling. I very rarely endured physical pain and almost never injury. One trick IMHO is don't start this at age 30 something start it before puberty and never quit. I was 63 when I found out I had cancer and underwent a horrendous operation and hard painful physical activity gave me my body and strength back, mostly. Still have the pain from that operation 18 years afterwards. Still workout everyday just can't do as much now.
