Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

RFK Jr is eminently preferable to Biden or any of the unhinged Leftists that may join the race (and here's hoping he splits the Dem Party vote), but have you considered RFK Jr's thoroughly tyrannnical prescriptions regarding climate change "deniers"? He's quite open about it. No way I'd like to see him running anything with real authority.

I'm not settling on any candidate until things get serious in 2024. By then, hopefully, all the hangers-on will be winnowed out and we'll get some real policy positions.

I know, I know, that's a lot to hope for.

RFK Jr is a gun grabber and a climate change true believer. I'll pass. They would corrupt what little integrity he has in hours.

I would recommend that you investigate a little more. I have listened to what he has to say on guns on a podcast. I believe it was with the guys at Epoch Times. I am a 2nd amendment absolutist, all gun laws are illegal as far as I am concerned. RFK Jr. surprised me with what he had to say. Investigate. I can't believe I can type this because I always felt the Kennedy"s were a curse on this country.
