We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Of course, it's not really BlackRock and Vanguard, it's the people who run BlackRock and Vanguard. But it's not their money they're playing with, why would they care? The money largely belongs to pension funds, a lot of public sector employees pension funds, people who share a lot of the same socialist "stakeholder" sympathies as these giants. Imagine the most oppressively evil HOA imaginable where your neighbors get to vote on what color you can paint your house - that's the "stakeholder" philosophy. I have to look at your house so naturally I have a say in what it looks like, right? We're all here to serve each other, no man is an island, you didn't build that, it takes a village, blah, blah, blah. Adam Smith, while a big fan of capitalism, was not a big fan of capitalists because he knew they were human beings with all their prejudices, self-interest, greed, cunning, and propensity to lie, cheat, and steal as much (or more) than any other man. And with BlackRock and Vanguard you see this all on full display, how power corrupts and people who know that if they're rich and powerful they're ipso facto better than you and therefore divinely pre-ordained to rule. These people should be shot.

The financial consequences will eventually catch up with the pension funds. The prospect of declining pensions will determine how truly woke are these pensioners and prospective pensioners.

I've posted James Lindsay pieces before. He is one of the few who get the marxist background of woke. Woke uses the same Gramsci/Marcuse sex and race weapons that are reworked to gender bender and blm editions.
The DEI/ESG extends those divisions to effect corporate behavior by controlling the flow of credit to corporations AND individuals. Do notice that more than a few gun shops and gun manufacturers face debanking. DEI/ESG extends this to all corporations including health facilities.
All of this is simply the advancement of marxist/fascist authoritarian control.
Every state needs a state bank such as the one in North Dakota. And we need AG's that will prosecute this extortion racket.

This all ties in to the elite cabal and the world government agenda and climate change. The problem for them is freedom and more specifically that unique kind of freedom that a huge middle class in America enjoyed. Yes that was intentionally said in the past tense. The trick is to take our freedoms and do it in a way that millions of Americans support or appear to support. That "appear" issue was being worked by the MSM and internet controls so that people who disagreed are quickly shut up and hidden. The clinker in the gears is the 2nd amendment. How in the hell do you oppress 200 million middle class people who own guns??? They have to get the guns and THEN they will move quickly to full on tyranny.

They have been working on that since the 70's. Slowly the will to own guns is being diminished. I predict within 2 generations gun ownership will be a part of our history.
