We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Two questions that were completely ignored in the Adderall story:

1. Why are so many Americans diagnosed as ADD? Is there a historical trend? Is the trend and rate of diagnosis the same as other countries? Is it normal or abnormal human behavior?

2. Why would the government place artificial / arbitrary caps on the manufactured quantities of Adderall, that are incapable of assimilating demand information for legitimate purposes, if it creates artificial shortages and sets up the system to fail?

Pride party. By their actions and choices they show themselves to be mentally ill. They need mental health treatment not affirmation and adoration. They also need to never be allowed near children or to use social media to influence children.

I can remember when we in the U.S. decided that sex education was a good idea. It was laughed at then but we did it anyway. Now it has become sexual indoctrination and should be ended. I doubt that we ever needed it in public schools and clearly now it is the entire camel under the tent not just the nose.

Government has done more to destroy marriage than any single institution. It started with birth control, then no-fault divorce, legalized infanticide, and culminating in gay poo-marriage. What’s next? Pedophilia marriage?

Go on YouTube and review Trumps rallys. Or look at the news showing Trumps current rallys. Tens of thousands of people enthusiastically cheering for him and what he stands for. Compare that with any other candidate, even DeSantis. Tens of people, no one enthusiastic. choreographed cheering if at all. The Democrats depend on unions and NGO's to get out the vote and manufacture the vote. Republicans depend on an occasional popular candidate or a solid Republican district.

Don't forget that in the 2022 election that Republicans abandoned many Republican candidates and in some cases even worked against them simply because Trump was backing them. It appears that the Republicans intend to do this again in 2024. The never Trumpers are running simply because it gives them a platform to disparage Trump. Make no mistake, they intend to lose this election if it gets rid of Trump. For both parties this is all about their power. It isn't about the citizens, the voters, the country it is about their power. Who is the one candidate that can't be bought and puts the people and the constitution first? And THAT is why he must be stopped.

The FBI misused the FISA courts 278,000 times and most of those cases were to try to overthrow a sitting president, Donald Trump.

Why would the FBI NOT misuse the FISA courts. Name an agent that received any discipline such as pay forfeiture, firing, fines, or anything. Even contractors were misusing the FISA courts.
Name a single individual who signed off on the "verified" data that was neither verified or true in order to extend spy activities, that received any disciplinary action.

There was NEVER any downside to cheating the system so hundreds, perhaps thousands indeed cheated the system.

The Patriot Act must be ended and never again instituted. Neither the judges, lawyers, or agents are capable of having an honor system within the DOJ, FBI, IC, or FISA judges.

I think Trump needs to take his voters and start a new party. The Republican Party is putrid. They are not an opposition party. They are part of the same party vying for a one world government. I know what I sound like, but conspiracy theories are currently 16-0.

What this all boils down to is that multi-national corporations, billionaires and other countries are looting the U.S. and paying off our politicians. Trump was in the process of exposing this and making America and Americans first. There are literally trillions at stake. Literally every billionaire in the world would lose money under a Trump presidency and every politician in the world with few exceptions would have their graft income reduced. Everyone is in on this looting! Even those people who you might think are good guys. There is a constant flow of money to power brokers directed by billionaires and huge corporations who themselves are receiving a constant but much larger flow of money. The only possible end result of this worldwide looting of America is to destroy our middle class, reduce us all to some level of poverty and control our lives. The biggest fear of those who would do this is that we wake up and stop it. That is why Trump terrifies them. That is why everyone who might possibly wake up must be called white supremacists and MAGA terrorists. The resistance must be destroyed.

That’s an interesting article on affirmative action. These people are just ruining their brand and turning the college degree into a worthless piece of paper. It’s like Harvard Medical School lowering their standards so they could graduate more minorities. They were turning out people with an MD degree that couldn’t pass the state licensing exam. Now blacks are about 13% of the population so they expect blacks to be 13% 0f college students. That’s only going to happen if they really lower standards, which is already happening in college. As you know, blacks average 85 points on an IQ test. This means that 83% of them score less than 100 points on an IQ test. Assuming you need to score at least 110 points to do college level work, that’s only about 4% of them and assuming you need to score at least 120 points to become a doctor, lawyer or mathematician, that’s less than 1% of them.

Read I Robot by Issac Asimov. I read it in 1950 and still remember it. My brother was into Sci-fi and he got all of Asimov's books and I couldn't stand the thought of not out doing my brother so I read them all too. Little did I know that they weren't fiction but rather prediction.
