Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Compared to their Mid-western and Central American relations, the Northeastern American Indians led primitive and scattered lives until agricultural society was imported from Central America around 1300-1400.

There is an anomaly between North Eastern Indians and most of the other Indians including South America. The NE Indians are taller and broader in the shoulders and chest. Different facial features too. One theory is that there is an European DNA factor. I do know that DNA tests have been mixed and in depth testing is discouraged. But what ever the reason for this difference it would seem to indicate that the Eastern and Western/Plains Indians are not related or at best mixed.
