We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Beachcomer is okay, Wellfleet has Mac's Shack, The Bookstore, and fine dining at PB Bistro, Moby Dick's for cheesy tourist clam shack. Friendly Fisherman in nearby Eastham is great for fried clams, fish and chips, etc. as is the very busy Arnold's further up Eastham. Mac's on the pier at Wellfleet is a very casual walk-up with great seafood and ice cream.
Ceraldi on the Wellfleet harbor is a gem, chef's menu of farm to table, hard to get one of the nightly seatings, but a great experience. Avoid Pearl at the harbor, overpriced and nasty.
