Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Sex toys for ladies


Are we Living In the Golden Era of Sex Toys?


Not really. Sex toys for ladies have been around forever. The newer ones might be more exciting though. Women, of course, have sexual needs and wants which cannot always be realized for many reasons. 


Males can easily take care of themselves but it can just be a chore.


Photo is an ivory dildo which was owned by a whaling Captain's wife. They nicknamed these toys as "He's Home."

A lady goes into a sex toy store and asks to see the dildos. The gentleman behind the counter brings out three dildos all skin color. The lady looks at them and the first is 5 " long and way too small. The second one is 7 inches long and looks tempting. But the last one is a full 10 inches long and she can barely get her hand around it. She tells the clerk she wants the larger one but does it come in white? The clerk tells her that all the large ones are only available in black.

This one would have needed to be warmed up by the glow of a whale oil lantern on those cold New England evenings.

We aren't living in the "Golden Age" only because we continue to make them better.

But these days they're made of safer material, and there has been a lot of work into figuring out what gets women (and men) off, and there's lots more options than just dildos and vibrators.
