I have heard before that Cavuto is afflicted with MS, too. If that's the case, he would be a prime candidate for the Covid-19 vaccine's protections. I don't understand his crack about people wishing him ill, or the reference to the 'grassy knoll' - I think his political slip is showing. Are there really very many people who think that individuals in the high-risk groups shouldn't receive the vaccine if they want it? I doubt that....

That isn't actually what is going on. Like any prominent individual who speaks out on his beliefs there are some who are totally opposed to what he says and react to it in any way they think might show their strong disagreement. It may come out like they oppose him getting the vax or anything else he says, but it is merely negative statements aimed at him because or perceived negative statements by him aimed at the commentor. Most likely if Cavuto were a POC he would claim it was racism, if he was Jewish he would claim it was anti-seminist, if he was female he would claim it was misogyny and if he was Irish he would pull out that old canard that no Irish need apply. But sadly he is a white male and has to search for some pejorative he can use against anyone who disagrees with him. But in truth it simply boils down to "oh yeah, well you are a __ (fill in the blank).

The tone of the Gateway Pundit article is exactly that, if you look at things like the all-caps AGAIN. GP clearly thinks him a fool about vaccines, because...well, that's who that site is now. Used to be pretty good, a long time ago. It is sad and shameful that there are such places like Gateway and I hope they are few. But Cavuto isn't wrong that they exist. And they even get quoted at respectable places like MF. He is pushing back against stuff that is real.

Tone is a real pet peeve of mine. Gateway Pundit is far from the only guilty party on the right trying to stoke emotion with uncalled for wording.

Just report the news and let me decide if it sets my hair on fire. Don't try to add the accelerent in the post, with words like disgusting, terrifying, horrifying, alarming, etc. I can see through it and find it very annoying.

The Left does their damndest to to spin articles to play on emotion. The Right doesn't need to do the same thing. It insults my intelligence.

That said, one can still sift through the article for the worthwhile tidbits. It just takes a little longer.

I don't entirely disagree, but I left liberalism in the 80s largely because I could find sources on the right such as National Review or WSJ that didn't do that. Even though there were a lot of evangelical sources that were fire-breathers (I come out of the 70s Jesus people movement), some of those were measured and balanced as well. It made an impression. Less true now.

The welfare system in the US is a trap (as I suspect the European system is also). Once in and receiving full benefits, replacing those benefits with an honest job would be impossible for someone who would need welfare in the first place. DuckDuckGo “welfare cliff.”

Canada is in trouble right now and I hope all of their citizens are aware of that. If Trudeau was an honest leader with Canada's best interests at heart he would have met with the truckers and others who were protesting the excessive mandates. He would have found some middle ground rather than take a route that can only lead to a divided nation and future protests. Worse! He choose violence and retribution because he was genuinely in fear of losing his power. NOT because Canada's "democracy?" was at risk, NOT because of any threat of violence from the protestors, but simply because he could see that the protestors movement was popular and that unless he stopped it a majority of Canadians would adopt an anti-mandate position and this would force him to concede to it or be voted out. This was 100% a power play by him to stop the resistance to his rule and scare any and all citizens from defying him. This is dangerous to Canada. His invoking the martial law against his own citizens was the point of no return. And yesterday Canada's parliament doubled down and blew the last opportunity to get out of this mess before it blows up. I genuinely fear for Canada.

What a odd coincidence! HIV has mutated into a "super-aids" following the mass inoculation with a experimental vaccine that has a component in it that was taken from the HIV virus. Odd! huh?

I'm not a medical expert, but I think there needs to be a clarification and I think I am correct to note that HIV is a virus generally thought to cause AIDS. Many other things, including other viruses can cause AIDS. It has recently been asserted that the vaccine spike protein can cause AIDS, but no expert, I believe, thinks it can cause another virus, i.e., HIV.

Red shift means the frequencies emitted are shifted, not dimmed.

Edwin Hubble's discovery that the Universe is expanding also helps explain why the sky isn't blotted out with starlight. Stars moving away from us at high speeds will be red-shifted, thus dimming their light to our eyes.

So… has the star light shifted enough so that this is true in all frequencies or is their some frequency in which the sky is white (saturated)?

In an ironic twist the women's soccer team won an "equal pay" lawsuit. Ironic because the pay for the men and women is based on revenues not gender and in fact the men's team players received a lower percentage of the revenues than the women did. It was the men who should have sued for an equal percentage as the women players were already getting a greater percentage of the take. So where will the extra money come from? The problem is the fans must be mesogenic or something because they prefer to watch men's soccer over women's. A likely second irony is that since the women's soccer is dominated by lesbians and are just generally nasty people when they are on TV perhaps the lowered attendance to their games is related to that simple fact. No matter, in the upside down world of gender equality the women who were already getting a bigger percentage of the revenues will now get more money which will magically appear from... the men's teans revenues. Isn't equality, oops, I mean "equity" great?
