We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Italian charms vs hot news

While I would prefer, right now, to post about Italian charms and Thanksgiving blessings, I am urged by our posters to mention the Rittenhouse verdict.


 Really, just trolling for comments I guess. 


My view is that if you threaten me with serious bodily harm, I will kill you, or try to. I have the tools at hand.


For his future, would be better if his surname were Smith. He could be a good EMT.

I truly believe that the left wanted to put Rittenhouse in jail for life just to intimidate the rest of us from trying to defend ourselves from their brownshirts. I am happy that they acquitted him, I hope this is the beginning of America taking their streets back and the end of allowing rioters to burn and loot businesses. But somehow I suspect it is the beginning of the left doubling down because they want total and absolute control and to destroy the constitution.

My advice to Kyle is watch your back. Everything you do will be viewed under a microscope to find something they can use to punish you. Watch who you befriend because the long knives are out for you and people will line up to betray you.

The video suggested it was a mixed crowd, but I did the impression that it was more pro-Rittenhouse than not. The cars driving by honking appeared to be supporters.

I suggest a re-read of the Time Magazine article about the secret cabal that 'fortified' the 2020 election. And I would further suggest listening to MartyrMade's podcast about the case.

I predict the unrest arising from this verdict will be low-grade and infrequent. The driver for the rioting in the summer of 2020 was to get Trump out of office, by association with the violence, rioting, and unrest. The funding and organization came from the hundreds of millions that were distributed via this black money network. Now that the mission has succeeded, the drivers and the funding have gone away. Their focus is now on 2022.

Antifa depends on cash flow - at riots, they are the ones organizing at the fringes handing out cash to the mentally ill, the tweakers, the homeless, the recreational brawlers, the sociopaths, with the direction to 'break this window, start this fire, beat that victim'. The ones that get arrested are just society's flotsam and jetsam, there for a quick buck and thrills.

No money, no riot. There's no political gain here to be made. It'll just be the crazies spouting off.

I think your analysis is spot on ... Despite stupid move by MSDNC to follow the jury bus and film the jurors, there didn't seem to be too many real protestor milling about. No money, no violence. The leftist vermin are keeping their powder dry until they can make up something out of whole cloth.

They lost this one on the facts being thrust in their face. But they'll be back for something else.

Meanwhile, that young man better get Robert Barnes on the phone and start suing for defamation ... with Brandon first to the dock!!

Good suggestion re: Martyrmade podcast. Darryl Cooper lays out his commentary in a manner that is erudite, thoughtful, well-studied and listenable. Highly recommend all of his work. His "God's Socialist" is a fantastic history of the Jim Jones saga.
