We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Yes, he's a competent painter. Would I like to have one of those paintings on my wall, regardless of price and who painted them? Yup.
Pictures of America, I'd call them. I recall seeing at some time an online collection of his paintings. IIRC, these 2 seem better than what I'd previously seen.
The Bob Dylan Center is now open in my metro area of Tulsa. 100,000+ items of interest, including recordings and filmed performances never heard or seen before. I look forward to seeing it. I think it will be be quite unique in terms of pop memorabilia.
I like the two paintings shown in the link, too. He's no Tony Bennet, in voice or on canvas, but not bad.
