Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Cucina Povera

Two greedy guys reviist the poverty food of the Campagna region of southern Italy.  Their enjoyment of food and life is delightful.


Eating fresh lemons from the tree? It's great. I do that, but not from the tree. Slice up a lemon and eat the slices, peel and all.

Two greedy guys reviist the poverty food of the Compagna region of southern Italy.

The region is spelled Campania. I was surprised to see the Campania spelling, as that sound is generally written "gn" in Italian.

There is a town named Campagna in the mountains of Campania.

This is getting confusing. I am reminded of ColOmbia, the country of coke and coffee, and ColUmbia, which can refer to that Ivy League woke university in NYC, the capitol of South Carolina, or the mighty river, and other places.

DH and I enjoyed this very much. We hardly watch anything on TV anymore. We like to find "nice" things to watch on the computer. We sit close and chat and have a little port and maybe a cookie and milk.

This guy Jordan Peterson has got to be the biggest fraud that I have ever seen in my life. God only knows how this guy made a living before he became an "intellectual". He probably sold vinyl siding. Jordan's routine is very simple: Don't ever criticize anyone. He loves to speak in sweeping generalities. "Life requires careful planning!" "Honesty is important!"

Thank you Jordan, for your cost-free pearls of wisdom. I don't like this guy because he steers attention away from the real issues. What are we going to do with millions of damaged people who were programmed to believe in communism? Communists can't be reformed. And what are we going to with millions of black militants who are just waiting for the signal to kill white people? We all know that it's coming. And what are we going to do with the millions of soon to be homeless elderly? And what are we going to do with the millions of Asians and Hispanics living in America who want to destroy us? And what are we going to with the millions of Jews who are building a psychological prison from which we can never escape?

Don't ask Jordan Peterson. He'll tell you that life is subjective; so we should focus on developing cross-ethnic solutions that build bridges of trust. Everything this guy says is pure bullshit. But he's just doing what he was hired to do: Put a face on the new world order, and make it appear as if thinking men approve of what's happening.
