This tragedy is the DNC’s fault, along with Biden’s and all the mindless, inane, shallow, myopic soul less people who voted for them. That MacDonald guy needs to write a song about this.

Which is more vile the Immigration Industry or the Poverty Industry? The Democrat’s policy wasn’t a secret; it's intentional and supposedly 80 million people voted for it. These people flaunt their malice; they have no problem with exploiting poor people, especially poor brown people. They know they are exacerbating the conditions for covid, not to mention extortion, drug, sex, and human trafficking; they know that their encouragement endangers women and children and puts them at risk for exploitation or harm, they know that large swaths of the economy, including hospitality are shut down, and they simultaneously plan to raise the cost of living, raise taxes, and suppress economic growth and jobs. What is wrong with them? They are cruel and heartless, predatory even.
To be clear, I’m not talking about the decent compassionate people, who are in the trenches, I’m talking about the people for whom tragedy is profitable or status enhancing.

Lest we forget Haitian tragedy. How many drowned before they were detected by the Coast Guard?

Yes, but they actually delude themselves into believing that they are altruistic and humane while, as you say, they turn a blind eye to the harm, the unintended consequences, just like they do for third word supply chain coerced labor. Meanwhile they scold and demean the rest of us. They're benevolent, all right; their largesse costs them nothing. It is at the expense of the less fortunate. while they are insulated from the damage that they have endorsed and subsidized.
