Friday, November 6. 2020To me, the presidential election is overI suppose Trump should fight because he is a pugilist, but it's over. I will admit to some surprises, but the electoral map looks fairly normal. Of course there was vote fraud, but not enough to really matter. Probably. Urban vote fraud is an American tradition, isn't it? My view is to be grateful for all of the excellent things Trump did for the country against constant, brutal headwinds. Except for the nasty virus, the USA is in good shape and the world has more peace than it's had for decades. He gets credit for that.

Apparently you see the illegitimate election of Biden to be a benign event.
ok. Run up the white flag. I don't agree. I agree completely. And those so called Republicans that are not willing to help contest the fraud you are worthless. Enjoy your socialist life in the future. A guy with dementia and a jackass laughing harridan "leading" this country is sad as well as embarrassing.
I'm astonished at the number of so-called conservatives who appear relieved (?) resigned (?) that the Left has stolen this election.
When they show up at your house and demand that you submit to their latest outrage, remember that you didn't fight when you could have. I don't agree either. I am actually horrified. All of the comments below reflect my belief that 2016 will have been our last free election if we don't correct this one. The media has been become an attack mob and even Fox turned into Brutus against Caesar at the pivotal moment. Big tech has become Big Brother for real, but we have only seen the beginning of its power. If we don't find a way to stop this we will never have the chance again. I have been feeling quite sick about this until I read an article by Frank Miele on RCP today. I clip part of it.
"So that brings us to the constitutional solution. This one is more elegant, but it still requires a heady dose of chutzpah. As noted, under Article II of the U.S. Constitution, the state legislatures are solely responsible for determining how each state’s electors are appointed. If a legislature were convinced that the presidential election in that state was tainted, it could convene and pass an emergency resolution declaring the election null and void and then choose to appoint a slate of electors by fiat. Since the claim of misconduct is being made by Republicans against Democrats, you can assume that it would take Republican-controlled legislatures to make such a bold move. Fortuitously, Republicans do control both houses of the legislature in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia and Arizona. Nevada alone among the contested states has a Democratic legislature. If legislators are convinced that the presidency has been wrested out of Republican hands through chicanery or corruption, they could set the matter right by exercising their constitutional prerogative. This is a heavy lift also, but if states intend to ever exercise their authority under our federal system of government, there would be no more appropriate time to do so than when one party seeks to arrogate unto itself power that it has not earned through a free and fair election." This is a brilliant idea because the people in those states can apply real leverage on state reps and state senators. All the states here provide safety in numbers and it works. Of course, all hell (exactly) will break out but will still we have the power to deal with it. Thoughts? I don't think anyone has the cajones to seriously think about it, let alone do it.
I think Trump supporters do have the courage, certainly in PA, Georgia and AZ. State reps, generally weak people, actually live among the relatively small group of constituents they represent and whose respect that want badly. The key is relentless pressure. This would be much more effective than protesting at polls.
The alternative is to successfully delay. through court action and discovery, until December. If neither candidate reaches 270 it goes to the House of Representatives,1 vote/1 state. The are options. Perhaps pursue both paths simultaneously, but do not give up. https://speakola.com/movie/john-belushi-animal-house-blutos-big-speech-1978
I remembered John Belushi's speech and then realized that it was Otter's strategic approach that (re-)galvanized the group. Disagreed.
It's being made clear that 2016 was the last election that could be reasonably said to have been fairly conducted. If Trump loses, there will not be another. Amen Unfortunately Trump will go down in history as the last Republican elected President
Yes, just how, after brazenly stealing this election, are those who stole it going to be any less entrenched and less capable of doing likewise in perpetuity? "They had to steal this one like they did because Orange Man bad, Old Chap, but no worries it's back to Marquess of Queensberry Rules from here on out!"
This really is a now or never type thing, it is sad to say. Don't kid yourself. The only reason that fraud didn't appear as a significant feature in 2016 is because the Democrats were confident of a decisive win. Their howls of outrage over the past 4 years are telling - they've been as mad at themselves as they've been with the deplorables, because they think, secretly, that cheating would have put them over the top and nobody would have been suspicious. For dishonest elites who think they're superior to the normies, there's nothing as painful as living with the consequences of bad assumptions.
How did you determine there was not enough fraud to really matter?
I'm trying to sort that out myself right now. Yes, by what mechanism/line of reasoning did The News Junkie arrive at their conclusion that the level of fraud is negligible? Is what we're witnessing something that happens every 4 years or is it anomalous? Does a familiar electoral map render innocuous stalled vote counts in swing states coupled with miraculous, lead-erasing 100,000+ vote bumps in some of those swing states?
Uggh. Conventional conservatives, especially boomercons, are worse than useless. When the time to fight arrives they flick on the television to chill and grill. God help anyone who gets stuck in a foxhole with a boomercon.
This is not about Donald Trump. It's about the brazen theft of a presidential election through massive voter fraud in Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Detroit. If Republicans capitulate on this one they will never win another election, and they don't deserve to. Acela corridor= America's hemorrhoid. If you're stuck in it you're inured to its ignoble, curdled constipation, and youll tolerate its ethical laxity.
It won't work for a free range Arizonan. https://twitter.com/TruxtonSpangle4/status/1324774098095034368
https://twitter.com/MagaKarma1/status/1324773534661529603 Nothing to see here, move along, please disperse .... https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffnt&q=youtube+leslie+neilson+nothing+to+see+here&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DvP8rbYEZ1cE I see we still have a few good men.
The news junkie is wrong about Trump losing. The fight might be worth it but recognize what's being fought for. The chances of Trump being sworn in on 20 January 2021 are slim to nil.
Use this opportunity to document the malfeasance and the anomalies, make the case, and then hopefully find some allies among the remaining sane Democrats, and maybe a few the Bernies Bros, to bring about change in the way things are done. If they can do this to Trump they can do it to anyone they want to. As a news junkie, I would think you would be aware of all the irregularities both in the execution of the election and the statistics of the race. Are you saying 89% voter turnout in Wisconsin is normal. My understanding is that that was achieved with a 70 something percent turnout in the biggest city, Milwaukee.
Garden variety vote fraud would not require the ballot counting center to kick out Republican observers. Then after a suit, a judge orders that the observers be allowed in, and they are still kicked out and the sheriff says he will not honor the judge's order. This is the kind of thing the Second Amendment was written for. I wonder how someone who says something like, "of course there was fraud, but not enough matter" functions in life, because there is obviously a short circuit in their logic processing mechanism.
Even if you don't think it moved the meter on this election, which is a stretch, fraud in elections matters. I expect Biden to be President for an indeterminate duration because I consider the courts to be too feckless to act. Their attitude seems to mirror that of 'news junkie'; or maybe they just think that if they don't act there won't be violence. I wish there were something I could do. I am too old to take to the streets. Old flyer-
Children and grandchildren love stories. You might have a few they need to hear. The women have been misled into castrating their men. I feel it won't end well for them. Grandpas know a thing or two. Cheers. Wow! Very little voter fraud?? That is delusional! Democrats have been stealing and cheating in elections since I started watching in 1960. Democrat voter fraud is part of their DNA. This election has proved once and for all we are no longer a free republic but a banana republic! Good bye America..
The whole point of voter fraud is to do enough so that it matters.
Enough to win. That’s why they do it. "but not enough to really matter."
I cannot believe you actually wrote that. From my perspective it is over, as well. But that does not mean acceptance.
Not having voted for either candidate, I am not concerned about 'who lost which state'. I am VERY concerned with "Why were any states having problems when we knew long in advance what was happening and how it would shake out if no preparations were made." Fraud occurs to a degree in every election. There seems to be a substantial amount in this one. At least there are substantial enough anomalies that if you just blithely toss them to the side then sure - it's over and OK. But I don't think you can. Biden will probably win no matter what...but to just sit back and accept results as they stand without investigating anomalies is a recipe for more and bigger fraud. Just to name a few: While split tickets happen - how did Biden get substantially more votes than Dem senate candidates in key battleground states? This seems to have happened more than once. Most states have Biden relatively close to the Dem senate candidate. The sudden bursts in votes 'for' Biden with seemingly none for Trump. Some were 'fixed' but even if they were that's problematic. MI has a big, big problem with elderly voters. 100, 106, 110. even one 120 year old. Some have been removed. How many more were there? Pennsylvania - don't get me started. That state is worse than Florida 2000. Georgia and it's "Democratic registration" campaign - how did they let Stacey Abrams register 800,000 additional voters and NOT expect a disaster? Those are the tip of the iceberg. Granted, I agree Biden is likely to be the winner no matter what. But I think we all need to agree these states are a mess. My feeling is that mail in voting was DESIGNED to create these issues... and knowing that going into Tuesday, the people in charge should have had plans to deal with the VERY obvious issues which have cropped up... They didn't. That was by design. That is a problem. This is approaching invertebrate levels of spinelessness. Pathetic.
I'm sorry - it's spineless to recognize the inevitable but question the methods and process?
I don't think so. As I stated I don't have a horse in the race. I didn't vote for either so the 'winner' is secondary to me. The process, on the other hand, is not. I listed out a few of the anomalies which - I clearly stated - means it is not worth accepting the outcome over and worthy of requiring a look under the hood. If I'm driving the car and the oil light flashes on once or twice, I'm going to check the oil. I'm not going to keep driving it and risk the engine seizing up. That said, my personal opinion is that a check under the hood may still show Biden winning. Realistically, GA, AZ and NV are probably all losses. Which doesn't guarantee Trump is out - but more or less does, too. It will be very, very hard to prove out on WI, MI and PA. There's a path, sure...but it's tenuous. Face it - lots of people hate this guy. Lots of people love him, too. There are very few like me who are in-between. I do find it hard to believe Biden could generate a turnout this large, but I don't find it hard that Trump could - even if it's against him. I just think people who vote against a candidate and for a milquetoast weasel are stupid. Nobody said the average kid voting in their first or second election is wise...and that's where Biden did really well. So no, not spineless. Realistic. Accepting facts where they are presented but also questioning anomalies. So, just what "FACTS are you accepting??
What's been told to you by a LYING, thoroughly biased MSM? Or are you just another one of those naive or half-witted geezers who believes if information comes from TV journalists it must be correct and factual??? Just like Walter Cronkite "told you the truth"? LOL! There are so many logic-defying happenstances with this election that if you now say "It's over" because TV says so! Then sir you are not only SPINELESS, but WITLESS as well! I would refuse to share latrine space with someone like you, let alone want you in my foxhole! Your hands would go up in surrender at the first sign of trouble: "Ooh, It's over!" You would have bowed to the Japanese after Pearl Harbor or given up on Omaha Beach, after all the "facts" showed it was "OVER for Americans trapped early-on at that beachhead! And no more battleships after the Pearl Harbor attack. Take your YELLOW-STRIPED back and go home! You, sir, are an embarrassment to all true Americans! If we’re going to talk about Biden probably winning in the end, we might want to have an appreciation for all the evidence that has been collected and the remedies available.
We know some of the evidence (and more substantial and damning evidence is going public as we speak), but it’s unlikely we know more than a sliver. That makes any prediction of a Biden win premature. I’m not a lawyer so I can’t speculate on remedies but I guess that the outer fringe of possibilities is a revote, but more likely something less drastic. Some of the contested states have Republican legislatures. They could be a factor also. There are a lot of moving parts in several states. We didn’t know who won because of irregularities in a few counties in one state for more than a month, this hasn’t gone on for a week yet (as excruciating as it’s been). Since you don’t seem to have a preference for the outcome, pop some popcorn and watch. Some people have work to do and nobody needs the negative energy. "Fraud occurs to a degree in every election. There seems to be a substantial amount in this one. At least there are substantial enough anomalies that if you just blithely toss them to the side then sure - it's over and OK."
Ok? I adhere to the idea you get more of the treatment you put up with you want more of that? That's called sarcasm.
Did it match the rest of what I wrote? No. I was making a point. You DO NOT blithely toss it aside. In these hypersensitive times even sarcasm doesn't seem to work. "Fraud occurs to a degree in every election. There seems to be a substantial amount in this one. At least there are substantial enough anomalies that if you just blithely toss them to the side then sure - it's over and OK.
But I don't think you can. Biden will probably win no matter what...but to just sit back and accept results as they stand without investigating anomalies is a recipe for more and bigger fraud." BUT I DON'T THINK YOU CAN. On the very next line. “In the real world, nothing happens at the right place at the right time. It is the job of journalists and historians to correct that.” — Mark Twain
I am a World War II baby. I feel that I grew up in the greatest country in the world, at the time that it was (in many respects) at its greatest. I moved from CA to TX in 2017 after living there for 40 years. I could not wait to get out of CA. The main thing that has kept me going the past 3-4 years is Trump and his amazingly lengthy list of big achievements for the country.
I am currently in mourning for America, (probably, barring a "miracle") in critical condition on its death bed. I am glad that I am old and can retreat to my apartment as I desire and shut the door. I have decided that my goal henceforward should be to make myself as content and comfortable as I can for the time ahead of me. "Accept what you (personally) cannot change, change what you can, and seek the wisdom to know the difference." WA State has not had a clean election in 70 years. The liberal leadership openly discuss how their system is better than a democracy. After all, they have been to college! They have built Boeing. They have built Microsoft. They have built Amazon. They have built. . . .
The amount of voter fraud that has become common practice in WA State should have been examined years and years ago, but it was not because "THEY" were too powerful--too willing to destroy the individual, the journalism tradition. THEY have convinced themselves THEY are better thinkers, AND their wealth proves it--doesn't it? Microsoft just dumped MILLIONS into the Biden campaign, AND equally important Boeing just moved to Carolina--are these two things related do you think? WHY OH WHY IS NOBODY EVEN SUGGESTING THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE IN WA STATE? Expect some bloodshed in the next 4-5 years. Trump has taught us to fight and conservatives will not go quietly.
Seems like there was enough fraud to matter...
https://is2.4chan.org/pol/1604691714720.png LOL, ok frog in the boiling pot! When is the right time to hop out and do something about the fire?
Nothing can make our elections fair, except mandatory evidence with Id that you are a citizen.
There may be a way to mitigate the fraud in the future.
I have had my feeble mind at work on it this afternoon. Nebraska and Maine award Electoral Votes (EVs) based on who wins each Congressional district. It is not winner take all. If Lincoln or Omaha stuffed the ballot box it wouldn't affect the outcome in the rest of the state. If the legislatures in Pennsylvania and Michigan would do the same, it would firewall the vote stuffing cities of Detroit and Philly. They could have a million votes for Biden but would only get the EV votes for the congressional districts their cities are in. Not a perfect solution but it would give us a chance. If things stand as they are we have no chance. Good suggestion. Also note that the Electoral College, divided by states instead of by Congressional District, has a similar firewall principle.
Note that Electoral Votes are Congressional Districts + 2 Senate seats, so big-time vote stuffing in one city will affect the statewide vote for the Electoral Votes equivalent to the Senate seat. I have been thinking about my forebears, particularly my FIL (Okinawa April 1945) for the last couple of days. Their sacrifices in WWII, WWI, the civil war just weren't worth it if it comes down to this. I'm glad my FIL didnt live to see the 2020 election.
Whether this election is over is not nearly as important as continuing the trend that started with this administration. The Left are playing a long game here, but it is their own strategy that will defeat them in the end. Eventually, every coalition of the disaffected and dysfunctional eats itself due to all those militant factions being unable to resist the scramble for dominance. This is the most underreported story in American politics.
The only question is whether the rest of us have the motivation to play the long game better than the Left. We have a lot more to work with, the most important of which is a common set of principles. I don't know how much fraud there was--from the sounds of it quite a lot, maybe enough to sway the election. I'm not expert.
But it wasn't election fraud that put up the Biden signs all over our neighborhood. A horrifying number of us hated Trump more than they cared about competency or sanity. Call it a different kind of fraud--news fraud, perhaps. But the facts were out there for those who bothered to look, and most didn't. Hate is comfortable, I guess. You nailed it!
This country has been flooded with hate since the day after the 2016 election --never ever ending. Read David Brooks column today and you can hear the roar again, again, again. How do we contribute to the $60million needed to get this on the road. I think it would only take every one of us giving at $100--some can give more--way more--many will have to give less. But we can do this. WE HAVE TO DO THIS or this country has been destroyed! I just took a look at the money we usually donate at the end of the year to various non-profits. I can forsake the tax write off and donate $200--how about you? One fraudulent vote counted is two many. We need to lockdown the count now for two weeks or however long it takes to get the count right.
However, I REFUSE to believe that 100,000 people would vote for Biden, without voting for any other candidates. Didn't vote for a Senator, or a Representative, or any other races, but voted for Biden and Biden alone.
Nope; I was born at night, but it wasn't LAST night. https://www.theepochtimes.com/the-disastrous-2020-election-will-never-be-resolved_3568355.html
"The handling of the votes stinks to high heaven this time and there will be no sanitizing this to the satisfaction of Trump’s electorate. Trump will, I think, pursue this to its legal end. So, with Fernandez’s thread linked above in mind, let’s suppose that Trump is declared the loser. Trump will then leave the White House without assistance: the left will be denied their imagined scene. But, does he show up on January 20 to bless the transition? After all this? Why? For the sake of the Republic…and dignity? I would argue that he shouldn’t. This will produce an apoplectic fit among his enemies, and sadly among too many Republicans. So what? The transition will still occur. The Republic, such as it is, will still stand. Yet, it should in this event be shamed and the event itself seen to be shameful. It would be that. Certainly. The very fact that Biden now claims that he will govern as a president of “America” after serial slanders of more 60 million people is hideously laughable. The transition should not take place as if this was anything like the past. Even in the lead up to the Civil War we could at least manage an election with dignity surpassing the present and without the obvious taint of nationwide fraud. What has taken place over the last four years, and more, which has led to this denouement, was allowed to happen: allowed by Democrats and the left surely, but also by many GOP members of Congress and their supporters outside all of whom fled the field too often. They, most of all, should be denied any sense of dignity, and the fiction that the past can now be simply set aside. Too late. Much too late. We’ve come a very long way from ages past when honor mattered. Affairs of honor are no more, and not solely for being outlawed. Even “fighting words” are now a distant memory. Many think this an improvement. Yet, I wonder whether our society would stand improved if fighting words regained their meaning and more than few, now confident in their slander, instead walked around with loosened teeth and broken noses." "It all began with mail-in voting—that scandal-ready procedure that was the electoral equivalent of flying over American states in B-52s as if they were behind enemy lines and dropping ballots at random.
If one were to design a system by which a democracy could be subverted, even destroyed, universal mail-in voting (not, of course, normal absentee voting that requires the citizen to request a ballot) would be at or near the top of a list. What could go wrong? It’s not just the obvious—dead people voting, people who left the state voting, illegal aliens voting, signatures no one could possibly recognize being authenticated, signatures with no record, envelopes being back-dated, ballots found in gullies, ballots dumped in gullies, ballot harvesting, foreign agents voting surreptitiously en masse, deadlines that keep moving like the proverbial goal posts, and who knows what. It’s an actual guarantee of chaos—and that’s what we had and have. No one will ever really know what happened. The pandemic was the excuse, but I strongly suspect it was more than that. I suspect, in fact I’m sure, that the intention of some was to utilize the pandemic to institute mail-in voting because they knew it would create this chaos, almost like an Antifa for the electoral system. How do we know it was in some ways intentional? There was plenty of warning. Just this June, 223,000 ballots in Nevada’s Clark County—17 percent of that county’s electorate that includes Las Vegas—were sent willy-nilly to the wrong addresses for their primary, according to the Public Interest Legal Foundation. No evidence has been forthcoming that this was corrected. PILF president and general legal counsel J. Christian Adams calls mail-in voting “chaos that lends itself to fraud.” PILF has posted a rather droll video—if it weren’t so depressing—of their investigators going to some of these registration addresses that turn out to be commercial businesses, not homes, where the putative voter may or may not have once been employed (in some cases no one seems to have heard of them). These include an abandoned mine, of all things." The world is laughing, and rightly so. While I agree that Trump cannot win this one I do think there is value in a criminal investigation of any and all who participated in election fraud. He cannot win because by now King Solomon couldn't determine which ballots are real and which are fraudulent. This is by intent. Pelosi and the rest of the criminal party changed the rules before the election and created avenues for fraud that once perpetrated could not be undone. So in the end the court will do nothing. or very little, to change the results. But I say make them pay a price. Appoint a special prosecutor to investigate voting fraud. Once this is in motion it will continue past January 20th. Offer rewards to anyone who can show/prove fraud at any level.
I do believe that the Republicans/Trump owes it to the 70+ million voters who voted for Trump and whose civil rights were denied by the DNC. We should continue the fight if for no other reason than to wipe the smirk of Tom Wolf's face. To the extent possible we should lay the corruption bare and try to arrive at the most accurate vote count once the illegal ballots and tricks are ferreted out. If we don't fix this a lot of people will lose faith in our government AND they will all know that the president and his entire party are criminals. I am not sure this will end well if we do not continue to seek legal redress. If this is allowed to stand it will mean we will never have a free election again. We will be subjected to a managed decline. You better start studying chinese as the Bidens are on the payroll.

Youre wrong on one gigantic point. Trump will get credit for nothing.

----------- Orwell Here is a salute to all of the patriots who commented here!
God Bless America! I’ve been thinking about Jefferson’s “tree of liberty” comment and it probably won’t take 4 or 5 years.
There will be blood on the hands of people who voted out of hatred of Trump or the apathetic. Most have no idea what they may have unleashed on our country. I pray Trump prevails. Terry No. A fraudulent election is a crime, and a fraudulent election that hands the Presidency to a minion of Xi Jinpeng is treason. Never give in to treason; it will only get worse.
America looks OK NOW, but how will it look when ChiCom troops invade Taiwan and we don't do anything about it? When NORK troops invade South Korea, but we don't respond? When China nukes Tokyo, and Xi's puppet Biden does nothing? When the PRC Navy blockades all traffic through the South China Sea? When Iran nukes Israel? I think the NEWS JUNKIE should be on CNN.
If the election fraud wins. Say hello to being Europe. That's working out real well! ok, so by your "logic" elections aren't needed and we should just leave to to the DNC to appoint every government position from now on into the future.
As according to you, what the electorate wants is irrelevant, the only thing that counts is what the DNC decides is going to happen. And that's a one party state led by them, in the style of the USSR, PRC, DPRK, Venezuela, 1930s Germany, Khmer Rouge Cambodia, Zimbadwe, and every other communist/socialist one party state in the history of mankind. Note that you won't survive long enough to be unhappy about your decision if that happens. As the official transcriber of the year 2000 Presidential Election Recount Vote, I couldn't disagree with the writer more. Our country is over and done with if we simply shrug our shoulders and allow an election to be stolen by the Deep State. I support the President's contesting this all the way to the Supreme Court. In Palm Beach County (2000), I witnessed firsthand the deception and fraud the Dems attempted to pull. It was shocking. C'mon, man! Fight!
Like Ann Althouse, you remind us of that group of people who love the benefits of living here, without having to lift a finger to do anything. You think you will be immune to what is coming. The outing and destroying of us common Trump supporters. Guns, religion and free speech only for you elite.
You have proven to be, when it matters most, simply a coward. and when the mob comes for you and Althouse types, and they will, I will cheer. You elitist asshats think that you are exempt from the coming pain. every totalitarian victory in history has been followed with the purging of people like you. I could at least respect you if you came out as a Dem. But you purport to love freedom. You are more interested in being able to sit at the kiddie table set up by your masters. They fixed this election. Midterms will be fixed also. There will not be another fair election. But you are ok with that. Because you are special. Fuck you coward. Trump Won Legal Votes.
Trump warned of Mail fraud back n August https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilUDYxEAX64&ab_channel=RyanDawson Also horrified that you feel this way. The DEmocrats are further emboldened now and will only escalate the fraud in both down-stream elections and packing institutions such as FBI, IRS and State Department with operatives. Ironically, we have turned into Russia and our "Republican" friends are greasing the wheels. Was thinking of the death of Ceasar and the end of the republic last niight.....
newsjunkie... you must be a boomer... you are suffering from normalcy bias... My generation has to deal with the shit show your generation has tolerated for too long and to point where our future is truly in jeopardy.... as long as you got your golden parachute???
Ahh heck.. they all cheat.. no biggie.. I've got mine.. f**k all the rest of you... Is that really how you see it..? If so F**k you ... If not.. pull your head out of your butt Time to fight Newsjunkie, you are deluded if you think it is ever ok to steal an election. Enjoy your delusions while you can. The Dems will insure that you soon get a rude wake up call. Have you already forgotten how awful life was under Obama-Biden for 8 long years? People like you were the ones in Germany who simply closed their curtains while their neighbors and friends were rounded up, falsely comforting themselves with the thought that at least it wasn’t themselves or their family being forced into trucks.
We are living in the midst of a Class War, and signs of it are showing up on these pages, I think. Not to be insulting - but sometimes the thoughts expressed here are evocative of a person who enjoys the comforts of inherited wealth.
I don't consider myself self-made, because I believe my parents raised me right, and that is a huge, altruistic investment they made in shaping my beliefs and value systems. I have tried very hard to do the same with my own kids. But all of my wealth is my own; I've been working since pre-teen, and had a regular part-time job paying taxes as soon as I could, at 16. When you get your first paycheck, and you see what has been deducted from it, and you start asking the questions, your life begins to absorb an adult-like understanding: There are implacable forces that are inestimably bigger than your family and you're going to have to accept their impact in your life, with little leverage afforded to do otherwise. The rage that we feel is the rage of people who are self-determining and who accept the consequences of their choices - but they also demand fair outcomes. Without fairness, there is anarchy. Right now, there are about 70 million energized and angry voters who think they've probably been robbed. And just look at all the riots. If you accept this result, if you even admit that a Biden-cooked-win is inevitable, then you are part of your own problem. You have accepted unfair outcome in an operation that has all of the earmarks of widespread voter fraud. Every single red flag is waving for you to notice. Will you notice, or will you change the channel? Will the Supreme Court step in at the right moment? Prayers are in order, but also action. I used to work in Gabon, back in the 90's. The diminutive dictator, Omar Bongo, was reputed to harvest 15% of all business revenue taken in by foreign corporations. SwissAir had a weekly flight to Geneva to move his money - they had extremely fit, burly stewards on that flight, no stewardesses, and every passenger had a firm complete patdown before boarding. Life before 911 and metal detectors. Now Omar's son runs things in Gabon.
This is a BBC article about his son's political elections. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-37243190 Red Flags: - Too many voters - A high turnout in specific areas - Large numbers of invalid votes - More votes than ballot papers issued - Results that don't match - Delay in announcing results Our datasets are a bit more sophisticated, so we can add: - Dead people requesting and submitting absentee ballots - Voter tallies suddenly decreasing for Trump and simultaneously increasing, by the exact same number of votes, in real time, on TV. Vote-switching, in other words. - Absentee/Mail-in Ballots unceremoniously being dumped - Statistically-impossible changes in vote results compared to past recent elections. The list continues.
