We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Good move. Who the hell puts a list of their beliefs up on their lawn, even if they weren't all strawmen? I've seen maybe half-a-dozen religious fanatics do it over the last fifty years, but you can find that many on one street in Hanover, NH now.

Probably a lot of streets in Hanover, but I was thinking of Rte 10. I have bad news for you about Exeter. It is actually pretty conservative by NH standards. It's an illustration of the change in the state as a whole.

Trump's sin is not only that he has kept his promises, but that he has shown how much can be accomplished within government by a single man who is committed to getting something done. They will never forgive him for stripping them of their self-protective perpetually-gridlocked sloth.

I hope one of his objectives for a second term will be to start moving whole Administrative departments to the heartland. Don't want to go? No problem. Good Luck and Goodbye.
