We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Biden saga

This is not a pro-Trump post, just an observation. The Biden family is as corrupt as it comes. Russia, China, everywhere. It's creepy. Find the Tucker interview if it has not been censored everywhere.


Trump has how many media colonoscopies, and still nothing, not even a minor polyp. Believe it or not, a NYC (and slightly international - Ireland) real estate developer, yet nothing at all on the guy except a weakness for females. I have always thought Joe was a decent fellow despite the expected political lying and bs, but not any more.


If you want money, that's fine. Everybody needs money, but get it honestly through work and not through politics.

That is the minimum argument for Trump and does not allow for an argument for Biden.

What drew most of us to Trump was that he was a businessman and not a politician. Reagan was OK but he did not protect American jobs the way Trump has done. The Japanese stripped nearly every machine tool from US manufacturers and built the same machine with their name on it just as the Chinese are trying today. Trump is helping to stop the export of jobs with tariffs and the import of labor with the wall and immigration changes. No other president has done this and certainly no other politician.
