We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. What did we learn yesterday? Egads, we learned that, if you though Joe and Kamala were the dimmest bulbs in the Democratic party, you were WRONG. Joe and Kamala are the best and brightest that the Dems have to offer.

I doubt all 700,000 immigrants from California are Democrats.

Anyway, long term, Texas will turn blue.

According to Texas public school figures, in the 2018-19 school year, there were 685,775 African American kids, 2,854,590 Hispanic kids, about 400,000 others and 1,490,299 white kids.

That's approximately 4,000,000 children of color to 1.500,000 white kids.

In addition there are about 537,000 children in private school. Even if they were all white, it's not enough to make a difference.

Demographics is destiny as they say. Unless minority voting patterns can be radically changed, Texas' fate is sealed.

All of the Steele Dossier entries begin in late June. Similarly:

June 27 2016 - Loretta Lynch (Obama AG / Head of DOJ) meets Bill Clinton on the tarmac; the meeting was leaked to the press while she is in transit, press waiting (thank you, whoever leaked this).

June 27 2016 - Christopher Steele hired by opposition research firm Fusion GPS.

July 5 2016 - Bruce Ohr, Associate Deputy AG, gets the first few pages of the dossier from Steele. His wife Nellie has already been working for GPS for a few months and Steele was using her research work on Trump to help build the dossier.

All of this came to pass partly because Adm. Mike Rogers had shut down casual access to the NSA database, and Clinton was wanting dirt on Trump badly. The Obama administration was happy to help by providing a conduit from the DOJ - which still had access - over to the opposition research team at GPS.

You should be getting pretty mad right about now. But behind all of this are hints that the other side might have got wind of it and knew all along - making all of this the subject of a counter-intelligence effort from Day 1. 'We caught them all'

It will be interesting to see how this plays after the election.

That has always been a puzzle to me. For those who do not live in the Northeast they may not understand that 99% of New Hampshire residents are escapees from Massachusetts. They left Mass because of high taxes and liberal policies. In fact many of these new New Hampshire residents in fact still work in Mass and drive long commutes everyday to work and back. So the puzzle is how is it possible for these escapees from left win/Democrat policies to still vote Democrat? For most of them they were simply brought up in a Democrat household and apparently the escape from Mass and left wing rule didn't 'click' in their mind enough to change their underlying beliefs or their voter registration. But it is a puzzle! Why would you move 50 miles to escape the effects of voting Democrat and then continue to vote Democrat???

Guillotines: My oldest son can vote in this election and his vote will likely cancel mine. Sigh.

We talk all the time about the dangers of the left and he tells me about his fears from the right. I mentioned this story to him today and he shrugged. He thinks that because some Democrats are peaceful, I have nothing to fear. I told him that if nuts like Kristopher Jacks get power, they won't be stopped by the moderates in the party. When the left gets power, it uses it. When the right gets power it tries to roll back a little of the damage done by the left, but mostly does nothing.

Now I am not saying that we should guillotine Jacks, but I am saying that this is why we can't vote for Biden. For every one of the Jacks types that has been exposed and forced out of the party (for now) there are dozens more Communists who can't wait to start killing those they deem unfit to live.

I hope I am wrong about it, but I have run into this type before and likely will again. I just hope that they don't have a mob or a court order next time I run into them.
