I was wrong to make a bit of fun about the toilet paper pandemic. If you anticipate the worst all the time, sometimes you will be right. I have to say that, between the virus politics, peoples' economic and medical lives, and the epidemiology, it's confusing. I am glad I am not in charge. I am afraid April 30 will be as aspirational as was Easter. Lives are being destroyed, and it's nobody's fault.

April 30th is not going to be the end of the beginning but it should be the beginning of the end of a host of attitudes and those playing politics with this while the stage is set for major world-wide conflict should be corrected post haste.

While the shills for the global and financial "elites" were scolding the Deplorables for trivial wrongs, they had to have known that they, themselves, were the beneficiaries of, ahem, coerced labor and ignoring the prevalence of shoddy or tainted goods.

It could be the concept of "per capita" is over her head. USA when, compared, per capita, is way below the countries of Europe for confirmed cases and confirmed deaths. Not so NYC, the city, not the state. NYC is not that far behind Italy and Spain.

It would appear Bird Dog is despairing. It is somebody's fault: China. And they should be held accountable when this is over. There are also those in this country (USA), like Hillary and Nancy, trying to make political hay out of this crisis. And the most egregious somebodies are in our execrable news media who have sought and continue to seek to fan the flames of panic.

Saint Augustine wrote that the worst thing is despair, because you give up. Don't give up Bird Dog. And don't be afraid to call a spade a spade. From China to the CDC to our so-called "mainstream media," there are many at fault.

Literally yesterday they were attacking Trump for saying he wanted to open the country by Easter.

Today's local front page headline is that Trump must defend himself for extending the period until the end of April.

America's press is unbelievable.

I have been watching an item on eBay from a particular seller. All of a sudden I noticed his feedback rating had dropped significantly.

It turned out that he was selling toilet paper on eBay. 3 people bought toilet paper from this seller for an outrageous price and then slapped him with negative feedback for "profiteering."

Heh.

Let the retailers charge whatever price they wish just like allowing gas stations to raise prices when there is a shortage. People will still buy at the lowest price they can find and they won't be stockpiling at the higher prices. It will take very little time for supplies to catch up with demand.

If diversities insist on rioting over the quarantine then let them riot in their areas. If the government benefits offices have to deal with the rioting and infected diversities then so be it. They should be the first to collect the profits of their pro immigration policies.

Ha Haaah! It would have cost Cali only $6 million a year to maintain their "edge" with these supplies!

I'll bet they spent far more than that annually on FREE medical care and welfare benefits for their "sanctuaried" illegal aliens!

I do not think you were wrong to poke fun at toilet paper. The idea that we can't have even a light hearted second while this is going on is silly. I know the science types will recoil, but morale can be just as important as treatment during a pandemic. If nothing else, call it the placebo effect. Humor is what makes that possible, unless you are a green beret. Lighten up everyone! We know the enemy and we can still have a light moment or two without feeling guilty. Oh, and did I already say turn off the TV??
