We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Well, kind of did that by tackling a lot of spring housecleaning. And the. We went for a hike. Tomorrow should be nicer weather here in Central Wisconsin, and we plan to go a longer nature walk. By next week, we might even get back bicycling. It was nice to see lots of people walking, and practicing social distancing even when outside. We will get through this.

I am an Architect. I saw a few variations of this meme on Facebook. A family member had to explain why it was funny. I keep trying to find the flaws in the floor plan.

$356 RT JFK to HNL (Honolulu) on Hawaiian Air. If you book before 3/31 you get free cancellation or switch. I'm booking me some Hawaii. :)

It's on kayak.com but that just shows fares and you book directly with the airline.

They have some 14 day mandatory quarantine for people flying in which I have to investigate but I'm booking for end of summer or later so by that time hopefully all this crap is over with.
