Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Obama/Clinton Russia hoax

McCarthy discusses its origins:



 There really was a collusion plot. It really did target our election system. It absolutely sought to usurp our capacity for self-determination. It was just not the collusion you’ve been told about for nearly three years. It was not “Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia.”



Many people fell for it.

McCarthy bent over backwards to consider possible alternatives and to trust some of the players involved, which infuriated some Trump supporters. Yet in the end these are the most convincing arguments, to those who will hear: even giving them any benefit of the doubt, the intelligence agencies, President Obama, and especially Mrs. Clinton, were revealed as liars and people who cared less about national security than about their own power. All the have left is the OJ/Roger Clemens excuse now "But they were never convicted, so they must be innocent."

Unless and until people are indicted, marched into court, and juries picked, we as a nation are on greased rails to the end of a pretty good run.
