We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I'll be talking about the Clinton hit on Epstein for a long time. He must have had some spectacular dirt on them.

But yeah - the media wing of the DNC has done a spectacular job of diverting attention.

The media is a diversion machine 98% of the time. Mendacious lies mixed with useless, unimportant stories meant to feed preferred narratives. Suppression of anything that hurts Democrats and the Left, or helps Republicans and the Right.

It’s gotten a lot worse ever since the Lightbringer took office — and it was bad before.

I remain hopefully (or hopelessly?) optimistic.

Trump still has his finger on the Twitter button.
Epstein has now become a legend.
There's another Democrat debate coming up in a month.
Biden is still leading the Dem primary polls.
Mueller was a flop and impeachment is not trending.
The more the Dems scream about racism and gun control the less they talk about buying off voters with various flavors of socialism, i.e. they point out where their real priorities are.
