We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Sexism and Racism

Why Sexism and Racism Never Diminish–Even When Everyone Becomes Less Sexist and Racist:



  Although modern societies have made extraordinary progress in solving a wide range of social problems, from poverty and illiteracy to violence and infant mortality, the majority of people believe that the world is getting worse. The fact that concepts grow larger when their instances grow smaller may be one source of that pessimism.


As social problems shrink, there is less need or demand for the Left. Then the challenge is to magnify smaller issues right down to the microscopic, invented, or imaginary ones. Raise the volume. They are gettng the hang of that. Especially Scare the Blacks, but I don't think that will work this time. The reparations deal might, though, because who does not like the idea of a free check in the mail?

I've always said if you've got a splinter and a paper cut and a hangnail and a stubbed toe and a grizzly bear gnawing your leg off, you've really only got one problem. Get rid of the grizzly bear and now you've got 4 things to complain about. Getting rid of the grizzly bear apparently made things worse, didn't it?

Those reparations checks will piss people off so badly that race relations will get even worse than they are now. What we need is a good old fashioned tax revolt. As I have suggested before, force employees to pay their monthly withholding tax separately.
You would see a hundred million people freak out.

On the reparations proposal, no acknowledgment at all at the hearing that it is blatantly unconstitutional. I find it amazing how far political correctness has gotten, that no one can open their mouths to say the concept is total BS.

Citizens cannot be granted different rights/benefits based on ancestry. "Distinctions between citizens solely because of their ancestry are by their very nature odious to a free people whose institutions are founded upon the doctrine of equality." Hirabayashi v. U.S. and a number of other S.Ct. opinions.

Here it is not even ancestry, because there is absolutely no proof required that the ancestors of those getting the payouts were harmed by the ancestors of those making the payments.

Exhibit A is Obama. His black ancestors were never enslaved by Americans. Further, his genealogy through his maternal white grandparents shows he is descended from slave owners.

Leftists are just obsessed with sex, race and money, not their own, but other peoples. They call this obsession sexism, racism, classism and they are constantly calling people sexist or racist. It's classical psychological projection.

Sexism and racism is like global warming. It is an ever ready excuse to demand others bow to your point of view. It allows the agendized group to create a legal preference for their class and they can use it to sue employers, sue cake bakers or get quotas for anything that would normally require skills or ability. It is the perfect scam and must be protected and renewed. All the animals in the barnyard are equal but some are more equal than others.

Racism and sexism are indeed increasing today, but they are coming only from the Left, and usually take the form of bogus complaints made to game the system. The only cure is to re-legalize discrimination in all its forms.
