We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

"Hoaxed" is out


It's a docu-drama by Mike Cernovich about fake news.  Scott Adams suggests that you have no distractions during the final 15 minutes (he appears in the film - as does Prof. Peterson who Scott says "totally re-programmed my brain about religion."

Cernovich completely lost his way over the last year (if not longer).

So much so that recently he stated publicly that islam is superior to western society and we should just all convert and get it over with.

Which is sad as he used to be a good commentator.

I gave up on Adams after he got sucked in on the Covington kid hoax. He's not really all that smart...

Good as far as it goes. A few quibbles here and there. There's more hoax than got unpacked in this effort, but a worthy effort. It coulda been better, yeah, but I couldn't've done it, so it's appreciated. Made by fallible people, whaddaya know.
I do wish all the deep state crap that has wormed its way into our gov't was exposed more, and i guess it's really not that hard to see if you've been around the block a time or 2 (i'm 67). This film helps, like D'Sousa's and others, but there's a bacterial slime adhering to the perps and the supposed guardians that so far has prevented the full disinfecting rays of truth and light to turn them out.
And who will watch it? the choir, mostly.
Way too much kool-aid under the bridge, too many useful fools and illiterates, not to mention the wider and deeper spiritual warfare waged by their CIC.
Feels like this country is over, we just haven't fleshed it all out yet or woken to the fact. Some black swan or another seems imminent.

The Patriots left in the military after that fake, ghey Muslim from Indonesia, BHO, got rid of all the best and brightest from among their ranks, tried the traditional way of re-taking America through the use of DJT's candidacy and his undeniable patriotism and sacrifice in his carrying out the job of POTUS.

If the DS still prevails, the Patriot?military's next effort won't be so pretty!

It's a pretty good documentary.

I take 100% of what Scott Adams says with a grain of salt, mainly because if he'd been wrong about the last presidential election, he'd still be the guy who draws Dilbert and nothing more.

It's the working equivalant of an overview of Sharryl Atkisson's "The Smear." The Smear demonstrates how all of the stuff depicted in Hoaxed works.

I have no idea of what Adams meant by his video comments, which I admit convinced me to buy and download Hoaxed.

I guess, though, that Adams was masterfully persuasive by stating a quasi-religious epiphany, but it seems he's not read The Smear or dug very deeply into Peterson if it re-wired his brain regarding religion. (That, or it was some really potent weed he had smoking that day...)

For sure, it's worth ten bucks to own, and should be viewed by everyone who doesn't regularly watch The Corbin Report and/or who know about the Smith Act re propaganda not being renewed...

I agree with Mark and Jonathan that this won't help open the eyes of anyone buying into the narrative. You'd have to figure out how to break in group brain chemistry and replace it with something that feels as good or better. Re: Adams not that smart - It's funny but that's kind of why I like him. Mostly average guy with some real depth from years of immersion in a few areas. Unusually willing to admit he's not the brightest, maybe shouldn't be talking about a subject because it's over his head and willing to change his mind on things. I can't listen to his climate talks - too painful but it is interesting to see how a non STEM person might knowingly or unknowingly approach science from who can make their theory look sexiest in the shower vs it's all about the data. For all that he has, he seems a very lonely person. Scopes every day - sometimes saying the same thing over and over. I think he's best the day after some big event - usually produces a belly good laugh. For all that he knows about persuasion, I don't see him teaching the basics for an alternative, competitive in group. Thats what it's going to take. That's why Covington kids. Looks like AOC is trying to create a cool alternative in brand by branding the old people in the Dem party as "conservative". Will they Teaparty, deplorable or bernie bro her? Hoping it's an epic fight and an epic opportunity.
