We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Just a couple months ago, there was this absurdity on Uncommon Knowledge. A much of EU politicians, including anti-Brexiter Tony Clegg, a Mexican politician and Stephen Harper from Canada discussing how to "revitalize democracy".
Only Harper comes close to being a supporter of democracy. The others all have national and personal backgrounds rooted in overturning democratic votes they don't like. The EU, startled by the refusal of their "constitution", simply decided to stop asking their victims to vote and imposed it through "elite" treaty means.
Clegg wasn't even able to withhold his disdain for democratic voting for the hour in question. He soon starts advocating that the "young" had not gotten to vote or would be stuck with the decision of the old Brits.
Any betrayal of the Brexit referendum would not go down well, particularly in England which has 84 percent of the total British population; I'd go as far as to say that it could well destroy the putative "conservative" party in the UK.
On the plus side, it would also likely signal the collapse and extinction of the odious Lib Dems and the ever-duplicitous Clegg.
Hmmm? Brexit...Trump. Mr. Condell could have been speaking about either. Thank you Mr. Condell.
And thanks to Bird Dog, the ever suffering Mrs. Bird Dog and all the rest of the folks at Maggie's Farm. I don't think Mr. Condell's video is likely to show up on the general news media.
I do intend to bring this video to the attention of the folks at Fox's Greg Gutfeld program. Maybe? It would help if other visitors and participants here about would also nudge Fox to broadcast Mr. Condell's video.
Common sense and sanity are so rare and uncommon, we should do our bit to spread the disorder.
