Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Trump in England

It all looks very pleasant, but the best part is he spends this weekend in Scotland, home of (half) his ancestors and of one of his golf courses.


My only question is how they get Marine One and the other big American choppers over there.

In my younger days I was an air traffic controller for the USAF. The president plane's call sign is the name of service followed by One, so we have Air Force One, or Navy One. The VP is two. Any branch of service could carry the President or VP. The name follows them, e.g., Marine One, not the aircraft. INFO ONLY

yeah, and if he flies a civilian aircraft it becomes Executive One.

Today he was flying an MV-22 it seems.
