Monte Carlo methods. These are now used all the time, and there was a time when I could understand the math. I just tried to reconnect with the concepts.

Squid recipes. Many of them, on the right side of the page.  If they called it Sea Turkey, or Ocean Carrot, or something, people would eat more of this fine critter. In my opinion, tastier than octopus, but its name is too squiddy.
