Hillary Clinton was on her way to be a guest on the Graham Norton talk show when she fell.

Graham Norton is an incredibly camp TV host, and the questions for guests are nearly always mischievous and/or ribald. It is also full of inside-jokes

Many American guests who are unfamiliar with UK culture end up looking lost and confused when they appear on the show.

I can't get over the suspicion that one of her handlers decided to view previous Graham Norton shows to see what they were getting into, and then deliberately tripped her in order to rescue her from the embarrassment.

Which suggests to me that Hillary didn't even trip- the trip was concocted to get out of being on the Graham Norton show. But truth-telling Hillary would NEVER consent to such a lie.

I wondered about that - don't normally think of breaking a toe as a consequence of running down the stairs (which stairs?) holding anything. More likely a seriously bruised posterior and/or a minor concussion.
