We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I've always been a fan. Dylan grew up in Hibbing Minnesota and I grew up just across the Lake--Superior that is. Always had a soft spot for his songs about the Iron Range and have traveled Hwy 61 many times. He went to Minneapolis to the U but only lasted a semester as he went on to bigger things. I went to the U as well, but having no talent, I stayed in school for multiple degrees. I walked by the coffeehouses where he played and also by Grays Drug where he rented a room. Memories. And yes, I still listen to him.
