We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Another excellent calisthenic to add to a calisthenic circuit. The guy below does it with a push-up, but the push-up piece is optional. Yes, it is high-intensity exercise, great for endurance and cardio. I guess they ought to be done as quickly as possible.
We know life is a big tree with many branches. There is little doubt that having strength can be useful in certain pursuits. Nevertheless there are limitations. In diametric opposition to that approach is another branch based on principles of relaxation and softness. One does not last and the other continues to flower for a lifetime. Be a good detective and see.
I hate burpees before I do them but like them when I am finished doing them. I do a burpee ladder once a week. 10 burpees, rest 1 min, 9 burpees, rest and so on.
