I tried but failed to read that Foreign Policy article. She lost me when she regurgitated the fake news about the "entire senior management team at the U.S. Department of State" resigning. But she completely lost me when she referenced a poll about what Brits think about Trump. How is that relevant?

Donald Trump is a Monster President.

Donald is a man of action; he is not going to sit on his hands. He is trying to return us to normalcy, as much as that is possible. Unsettling, I know, but it sure is fun to watch. The leftorians has got their panties in a huge wad. Much fun to be had here on the road to reason.

I feel much better these few days; I sort of know how the wacks on the left feel (I remember Obamaworld, don't you?) but I did not foam at the mouth about it.

God Save The Queen. I have the highest respect for Her Majesty, because, well, she's the Queen of England; old home place and all that.

But, do I care who she associates with? Not one whit. Won't meet Trump. So be it. So who cares? Not I. My folks left the King of England in the dust a few years back; don't mean nothing to me; drive on.

Fallacies of conflation and of faulty generalization.

While it doesn't excuse the original tweet, Silverman has somewhat pulled back from her original suggestion: "FEAR can motivate even peacenik snowflakes 2 incite violence & last night I felt it hard. Trying 2 keep in check bc damnit I love u America".

The fallacy of conflation is due to confusion of liberal and leftist. The fallacy of faulty generalization is due to the confusion of the views of an individual with the views of an entire group.

These spontaneous riots from the left are organized and funded by Marxist communist organization and of course Soros. The neo-brown shirts are now dressed in black and wear masks. Ever wonder what happens to the few anarcist/fascists who get arrested? Does the DA make a deal with them for information about who the instigator or handlers are? If not why not? We never find out their name, their affilliation or for that matter what they were charged with. The SPLC never names them as a threat to the country. The ACLU never demands justice. Even their victims, many of them known to us by name and in videos, never seem to bring charges or sue them civilly. After all a civil law suit would allow discovery and questioning under oath with some really embarrassing questions. Even the MSM who would be really interested in who these people are if it were a white Hispanic shooting a black teen in self defense seem unusually uninterested in the identity of these arsonists, terrorists and criminals. Are you beginning to think there could be a conspiracy to keep the riots going and absolve the rioters of any crimes?

Trump Overseeing the Destruction of the Democrat Coalition

Sean Trende at RCP had a really good summation of the 2016 election that pointed out the Democrats have been doing a really good job of this all by themselves since about 1996. Obama's elections were just a speed bump in the road. Trump is just the first Republican contender willing to get his fingers dirty picking up the pieces.

Still developing this idea, but I have been listening to my friends and reading comments on social media regarding people's bizarrely intense fear of Trump.

What may be happening is that this is indeed the death of identity politics and a mainstream cultural reassertion of the fact that "We are all American because we all believe in the Constitution".

The "We are all Americans" crowd is in the right, and it just might be that deep down the identity politics people know it. However because these people's self-image is built completely upon their race/gender/sexual orientation, it is deeply disruptive to their essential sense of self to realize that these constructs do not really matter.

Long story short, it's a kind of narcissistic rage because all of a sudden the categories that young people have been getting told were important their whole lives are not important anymore. Trump's agenda is destabilizing to these people in a very intimate way. It's interesting to watch.

Identity politics will continue until the Democratic party is gone. That has been their sole method of survival since LBJ and likely FDR. It is their only solution to all problems and whipping up the appropriate identity group is how they proceed.
