Most vilified - Hollywood and foreigners and the press. Vilified by who? Only recently has the non-leftist contingent vilified Hollywood - mostly for those condescending videos - they should be vilified, they were urging the electorate to abandon their duty to the voters. Foreigners - by which she means criminals - people here illegally? I don't remember anyone saying anything nasty about legal immigrants. Ah, and the press who she extolled...

Seriously? I can't remember a single complaint out of Hollywood about the press failing to hold Obama to account. Anyone? Well maybe from Nick Searcy, Adam Baldwin, and James Woods. But the rest of them? Nary a peep.

And the Constitution - is that that old outdated document that we're supposed to forget about or reinterpret.

The total lack of self-awareness is mindboggling.

We all know our own motivations and biases, and it's darned difficult to attempt to reorient your thinking to accept that other people might, and in all likelihood do, have a different agenda. It's doubly hard when everyone around is saying that we're right and they're wrong.

Yes, but that is how I learned of over-compensation. Those who were most virulent against "queers" were the ones to watch. The macho wrestling and football enthusiasts? Well, what better activities for boys who like boys than "sports" that entail rubbing on other boys and sticking your face in their crotch. Not to mention those hours of sweaty muscles in the gym and frequent group showering.

Repeal the ACA. Let the market do its thing. Meanwhile, create HSAs, open up competition across state lines, get rid of over-regulation.

If ACA goes away tomorrow, the plans people purchased this year are still in effect for 2017. If people love these plans, they can stay in them. But if the insurance industry comes up with something better to sell you, you can move to that plan.

If people figured out what to do when the ACA started up, they can surely figure out what to do when the ACA goes away. Stop FREAKING OUT about the repeal. This goes for both Democrats & Republicans.

You don't need to hold my hand through the process.

An immediate repeal would mean that millions of people would lose their health insurance, either because they lost their subsidies, or because they lost their Medicaid coverage. It will also raise the deficit, as ObamaCare generates overall revenue.

In a perfectly free market, poor people would suffer and die from treatable illnesses.

Once upon a time, a poor person might give their doctor a couple of chickens to pay for treating their child, a prescription of honey and lemon juice for a sore throat. The child gets her treatment, and the doctor might enjoy chicken dinner on occasion. Today, due to the miracle of modern medicine, treatment might cost a hundred thousand chickens, more chickens than a poor person might have scratching around the yard, and certainly more than the doctor would be able to eat.

Maybe that's true but does it justify taking the money to fund this from working people under the threat of violence and jail if they refuse???

The world is made up of givers and takers. The takers have no limits to how much they want but the givers are rebelling over the endless giving and want it to end. IMHO anyone and everyone who receives aid from the taxpayers should be limited on this free stuff (maybe a year) AND they should prove that they actually need it. Anyone on welfare who smokes, drinks, does drugs, and spends money for things that are not necessary to life should be removed from the system.

Like forcing people to stop at red lights under threat of violence and jail, that's a decision for the people to make. We're merely pointing out that if markets work freely, then poor people will suffer and die from treatable conditions. Just so we're clear what is being advocated.

But is that true? When I was young no one I knew had health insurance. We all had doctors and our parents struggled sometimes to pay doctors. My question to you is simple: Do the poor people today spend money on cigarettes, alcohol, drugs and other non-necessities of life AND then choose to not pay for health care? Do they choose to not work so that they can qualify for the free stuff that people like you advocate? AND has this option (i.e. becoming a non-productive member of society by choice to qualify for free stuff) in effect destroyed their lives and arguably destroyed the lives of most/many black American families??? Would you, assuming you have children, want this for your children? That is would you tell your children to skip school, don't do homework, have children from multiple fathers without marriage or commitment, do drugs and commit unlawful and violent acts because if you do these things you will be unemployable and unable to care for yourself and the government will feed you and take care of you forever???

IMHO if you give free stuff as a reward for being non-productive members of society then the result will be more non-productive members of society until finally the system collapses. This should be and is obvious to anyone so you have to wonder why they still advocate for it? The obvious reason is because this dependent non-productive teat sucking segment of society can always be depended on to vote for you if you promise more free stuff. But I suspect that in fact the left embraces and is a cheer leader for that inevitable collapse of our society that these policies will produce.
