Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Wednesday, November 9. 2016Revolt of the Masses, 2016
Image stolen from Lucianne Trump's humble brief speech last night was good. He noted that he had somehow caught onto a movement that few realized was there. This is a revolt against the Elites, against Wall St., global corporations, crony capitalists, Davos, central bankers, academic totalitarians, political correctness, Jonathan Grubers, massive powerful and out of touch bureaucracies, careerist politicians, climate loonies, political dynasties, George Soros, the "intellectual-yet-idiots", and moonbats in general. It's about time. Let's be grateful that Pence is in there - he knows the world that Trump is getting into far better than Donald does. Two things of note: Trump spent half of what Clinton spent. So much for money and politics. Second, this is the first time in a long while when Repubs will have had the White House and both houses of Congress. I guarantee they will disappoint you. Be bold and wise, you government people. How did I vote? I voted for Melania because she is cute, and an immigrant. Here are a few fascinating reactions: Greenfield: American Uprising - Everything is about to change.

We have failed. We are losers. We did all we could do to make you hate America. All of our lying fraud, felonious criminal activities, RICO-style Foundations -- all for nothing.
Our Master and Mistress, the Clintons, are finished. Yes, we will blame George W. Bush for our embarrassing defeat, as we always do. Then we will blame everyone but ourselves. But it is true, we, zack, the DNC, Media Matters, and the rest of us are Losers. Losers. Please don't blame our furry little hamster troll Zach. He did his best with very bad facts, in his hypnotized state. I hypothesize that Zach was once hynotised on stage to believe ha was a hamster running around on stage around, but he ran off after a worm before the hypnotist could snap him out of it. Unfortunately for Zach, he fell among thieves at the clinton crime family foundation, who exploited his hypnotized condition. They may have convinced him to start a blog zachriel dot com ? to claim that he is the "angel that rules over memory, presides over the planet Jupiter".
Plus, he has entertained us here, by making crazypants arguments that let us see how corrupt the clinton crime family is, in a very effective reductio ad absurdum way. Zach has been so effective at this, that it might be that Zach is a Trump plant? Sam, excellent point. And a better argument than "he dates Trump". But I'm still going with the hypnotized hamster theory.
I have to give Zach credit, he tries. Most of the time Hillary/DNC/Organizing for America trolls just repeatedly post obscenities in ALL CAPS. Man, you should have seen the F-words and threats rolling last night all over the net. On Facebook they were saying Trump should be assassinated, how he's a m**** f**** Nazi who's going to throw all the Jews and gays into the oven, and on and on.
You personal-pronoun prejudiced people!
Don't you know that Zachriel was not a "he" but a "we"? Z & A, are you suggesting Zach has a multiple personality disorder? That is too bad - he is such a cute little hamster, running around from post to post.

Why do the people who say they will leave never say they will go to Mexico, or the Middle East, or Africa, or any of the other places they want us to emulate? Hmmm?
Explain to me where the people who voted for Trump were when the Big O was elected, not just once, but 2! times? Short answer: They voted with their feet given the stable pony candidates running against O.
I got a speech last night from a co-worker who was disappointed that more American "expatriates" didn't vote, because that would have helped Hillary.
My response was, don't you think a goodly portion are living abroad because they couldn't take Obama and what he was doing? You think they would really vote for Hillary rather than Trump? Well, for me, I voted for McCain and Romney (held nose both times), and this time I voted for Trump.
I offer you the most uplifting scenes from last night: Hildabeest supporters in shock, in tears, in disbelief.
'It's a nightmare': Horror and disbelief at Clinton HQ as stunned supporters watched Hillary's humiliating loss Demotards who cannot understand why or even that America just bitchslapped them stupid. Whiny children. Can't take what they want to dish out to others.
Mr. Blithers, the sadness is nothing more than worry about how they will fund their next latte, if their taxpayer-funded grants and corrupt contracts from actually-working taxpayers may not be guaranteed by the crooked hillary crime family. Maybe they wont get fat management contracts to waste public or union pension fund monies?
What will they listen to if the half billion dollar funding to the socialist "National Public Radio" and related socialist propaganda "foundations" are cut off. Maybe they will have to contribute their own money to fund these socially-subversive politically-connected propaganda mills? Maybe they are sorry they might not have filipino maids to print out their classified FAXes? Maybe the companies they own will need to hire american citizens? hat a bummer - enough to make any america-hating globalist cry. But they do not cry out of concern about the well-being of american workers, and people who have to pay their own way because they are not "connected" to the taxpayer money spigot. This is the first dose of reality for many of these millenials, that is the shock we see on their faces. What to do now, MOMMMY!
It's the Orange Revolution.
My girlfriend's Bernie-bro mother sent me a very gracious congratulation message this morning. I have a funny feeling the left is going to be a lot less "fuck you, you lost" and a lot more "but, fairness!!!!" Let's keep hitting them harder and harder. No gracious victors. Let's appoint an AG who makes Lynch and Holder look Olympian. Let's hurt people. Not what I'd choose, given my druthers, but it's the way we live now. Yeah, I can remember the way they, and Obama, were after he won the first time.
And I remember "But, fairness!" in 2000, when Bush graciously (but unwisely) did try to reach out, include the Democrats, and be a reasonable guy. Nothing was ever enough. Teddy Kennedy's No Child Left Behind, which Bush now takes all the blame for, comes to mind.
I would prefer that Trump deliver his "We won" message graciously, certainly. But first things first. The determination to act on those victories must come first. The left always that way. When PM Harper won in Canada, the MSM were all over how he had to reach out to those who voted otherwise. Seriously do not recall the same response from the MSM when PM Jean Chretien - flushed with victory - said that if the West wanted any voice (and I paraphrase) they should have elected more Liberals. Serious double standard there.
I do not look forward to four years of Zsa Zsa as first lady.
After eight years of Eldredge Cleaver as First Lady, and the threat of Dorian Gray's portrait as First Lady, I'm ready for a change.
And some Hope, too. It's kind of funny. Hillary's probably the only woman in Washington Bill hasn't groped. Isn't that qualification enough? Thanks for the laugh, Wilbur. Hard to say for sure, but Slick Willy probably hasn't groped Killary. You just can't account for taste...or the desire for an adrenaline rush if he does get away with all his digits in tact. So who knows?
One wonders what the new going rate for WJC speeches will be now?
Is probably going to get a lot less action on Pedo Island or otherwise as well.
I also wonder how much slick willie clinton will now be paid to be the honorary chairman of a for profit college now. I recall he got $16 million for getting a $50 million grant to the for profit college, as a sort of payoff?
as a side note, I wonder how the college handled the expense as an accounting item ? bribe payment to WJ Clinton - $16 million? I think there are IRS standards for "reasonable compensation", which apply to ordinary people. Maybe these standards could be applied now that the clinton crime family is briefly blocked from the taxpayer spigot? Remnick might be having a nervous breakdown, but I saw this moment unfold live, and I couldn't believe anyone would say this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Klern25QacE never heard of him before. But I had to laugh at his anger and sense of entitled betrayal. Yeah, America was sitting so pretty in the world after 8 years of genius foreign policy decisions. The middle east was at peace and Russia put in its place by Clinton and Kerry deftly maneuvering our diplomatic corps. And now Trump will end all of that. How can you be THIS delusional? Finally, some good news to report!
from various sources, Hill's concession included: QUOTE: “Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans,” Clinton said, resiliently. “Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.” I can reliably report that Hill had her cankles crossed when she said this! The Clinton campaign did this to themselves. First , they had a warning shot from Bernie Sanders; don't forget there is some overlap between Bernie and DJT. More recently, Michael Moore, a lefty movie director, was sounding the alarm. Instead of reaching out to the disaffected Middle, they doubled down. The Middle has been thrown under the bus countless times on behalf of every Tom, Dick, and Harry Special Interest. Not only are they stiffed but they are scolded, lectured, denigrated, and reviled for their trouble. Who thought that was a winning strategy?
It really is mind boggling that they didn't learn much of anything form the implosion of the campaigns of Republican primary rivals. From the New Yorker link, where they quoted George Orwell:
"Governments make laws, but whether they are carried out, and how the police behave, depends on the general temper in the country." Whether they are carried out also depends on whether the chief law enforcement officer is true to the oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution", or if they decide that they can refuse to enforce the law so as to accommodate a societial change that they and a minority of the country wishes. And when people see contempt of the law by those entrusted with it's enforcement, they turn against them. "The fact that “traditional” Republicans, from George H. W. Bush to Mitt Romney, " were vilified as Nazis by you when they ran and then were held up as angels served to discredit anything you said about Trump, regardless of whether it was true. When you continually lie to people, don't be surprised when they figure you never tell the truth. "Hillary Clinton was a flawed candidate but a resilient, intelligent, and competent leader," - her record as Senator and especially as Secretary of State led no one who actually looked at her record instead of just her titles to believe she was competent. The media thought they were using Trump as a sacrificial lamb to get Hillary elected.
But it looks like Trump was the puppet master, not the puppet. Or if you like the monkey and organ grinder metaphor better, that works too. So we have a massive win for the GOP, Donald the outsider as president who may drain the DC swamp of corruption, and a corrupt media with no credibility remaining. Good times. So what's the deal here BD? You now have two AI chatbots infesting this memespace: the zBorg and Liberalse. It gets surreal when they gravitate to each other and start firing broadsides. It's like Dumber and Dumberer riffing off each other.
As I explained previously, the cosmos that chatbots inhabit only comes into "existence", and they themselves only exist, if they have a comment response to respond back to. Hence the natural attraction. You can sense the desperation and elation. Hey BD, are you getting paid by the AI researchers that are attempting to hone their craft? You ought to be. And as for rest of you, don't respond. If you absolutely, positively can't help yourself, then I suggest this response: "Hey : Turing Test fail!". I am certainly not a feminist, (shudder the thought), but if any young women are looking for a true role model how about Kellyanne Conway, she did one hell of a job for Trump but will never get the credit that she deserves from the lefty set. I say "kuddos" Kellyanne for a job well done.
