I guess we'll see, won't we? I know Hillary has a tin ear and often says horrible things, but I have a suspicion that the reason she felt comfortable using the deplorables line wrt to working-class white people is because the 2012 election showed that the deplorables vote does not in fact matter. The Dems have been using a sort of divide-and-conquer strategy, pitting one group against another and subtly (or not so subtly) getting these groups to think of themselves as groups - and once you've corralled enough of these minority groups you've got a permanent ruling majority.

And now you feign shock and disgust that the one minority group you've been pitting everybody else against - the white male - decides to adopt your own tactics against you, play by the rules you've established. If it's okay to urge black voters to vote for the black candidate simply because he's black and the female voters to vote for the female candidate simply because she's a woman - what's wrong with urging the white male voters to vote for the white male candidate? You should have seen this coming.

(That's a rhetorical question - there's an adage to the effect that when you fight a monster, take care that you don't become the monster. Trump's a monster - but the Left created him. You didn't want to compromise with us because we're all right-wing extremist Nazis? Fine - this is what you get when you don't allow for compromise.)
